This thread is the perfect example of the Lord British Postulate. So far the only way I know of beating her Yveltal right now is either abuse Revives*+Snow Warning or waiting until Decimate runs out of PP and then using a Lv. 1 mon with Sturdy to tank incoming hits.
*Easily done if you have a Pickup squad.

When it comes to the Golden Items, they're pretty inconsistent. So far I haven't encountered any trouble with the item for Cut or Rock Smash. The Strength one so far worked on all boulders except the one on the top floor of the Darchlight Manor. The Rock Climbing one works on only some events and fails on others, to be more specific it doesn't work on the rocks in Mt. Carotos for the Cyndaquil event nor in the Forest of Time for the TM and Zygarde Cell.

IIRC, there's a patch that allows this. Plus I imagine that I'd be easier to do this in the side-project instead of the main game as Keta's sidestory is more structured and railroaded gameplay-wise than the main game.

She is somewhat related to Marienete ? if you remember Madame X was in her house when her mother were sacrificed by Indriad, she told to the young Marienete to be strong showing some compassion meaning she could be related to her ,.... maybe she is Marienete.
This contradicts what we've learned from her aboard the S.S. Paradise. According to her, her mother also sacrificed herself to save her, so this couldn't be Marianette as Anathea was murdered by corrupt policemen.
Quote1) Griselda - the ancient queen. There are number of things that can link Madame X to her, namely that she was always feared instead of loved, she was betrayed by her 2 sisters (most likely Spacea and Tiempa), also "she rose again with her tiaras becoming her face (mask?), her ribcage becoming her claws (sword?), and her spine her wings (Yveltal?)". Also she sealed the soul of her daughter, that might be reincarnating inside Marianette, Maria, Melia e.t.c. similar to Vivian case, thus it is so important to her.
From Griselda's tale I've gotten Giratina's Origin Forme. Its face is covered by what looks like a tiara, it's ribcage-like structure look like limbs in this form, and its wings look like they are coming from its spine. And there's this.

Doubt it. In the Bad Ending we see that Melanie overlapped Melia, which means that Melanie is the Melia of the alternative present. If Melanie is Madame X, then Madame X could risk overlapping Melia and wouldn't even try to get near her in any way, as she needed Melia's light to fulfill her plans.

Basically what DreamblitzX has said. In V10 while in the past we get to learn that Angie was Anju's name back in Kristilline. There's a sidequest in Indriad's Manor that shows that Anju was captured and held there during the Storm-9, so it's not far-off to imagine that Anju was probably brainwashed by the Theolia cult in between the events in V10's past and her arrival in Terajuma.

"During one such performance she was caught off guard by a drunk tourist who snuck up on her causing her to inhale the fire and completely destroying her vocal chords."
So basically, the opposite of Helen?
Also, mark my words: B6 will constitute of Lilly, Festus, and Oliver.
-
Hmm... this means we pretty much have only 5 more gym leaders to be revealed. (Somewhat spoiler-ish, but mostly theorizing and whatnot about the final five reveals.)
SpoilerSo... from the silhouettes, the returning leaders seem to be Festus(B6) from the obvious Aegislash-shaped figure in the top-left, Oliver(B6) from the silhouette slightly to the left of Haley, and likely Lilly(B5) from the silhouette on the top-right of Helen. Unless Axel(B5) and Erwin(B3) got a complete redesign with their sprites ala Lucifer* or Edgar**, then we'll likely have 2 new leaders and 3 returning ones. I'd imagine that Bracket 6 will be structured again with Festus, Oliver, and either Lilly or the new Fire-type leader. Bracket 5 will probably have Venus, the new Bug-type leader, and either Lilly or the new Fire-type leader. Though if the new Bug-type leader manages to be extremely strong, I could see them making it to B6.
*Needed, as it it looked too much like a palette-swap of Eusine with a weird hair.
**Extremely necessary, as Edgar's old sprite was based off Juan's GBA-styled 64x64 sprite with fewer colors than how the rest of the leaders were based off DS-styled 80x80 sprites. Clashed too hard with other leaders.

Nice to see Gallade back. Wondering how his meeting with Edgar will go down.
Guess Cacturne wasn't well liked? lol. He did an alright job.
Aside from being often late and inactive, he used to venture far too much into awkward territory and frequently failed at being funny/amusing. In a way, he was just a poor fit with the league.

---Update---
Okay, so I finally got to Terajuma Island. About to edit Valarie specifically. If I'm honest... I'm sort of done with this whole
going back and rebalancing everything, tbh. It's SUCHHH a chore, but it must be done. I think I may introduce more public
development opportunities in the future just so that I don't have to do all this needless busy work and get straight into new content.
That being said, I'm also going back and replacing all generic RPGMaker sounds with canon Pokemon sounds. I use sound
effects a lot so HAHAHAHAHAHA..... It's been a journey.
...On the bright side, after Terajuma is done, I think I'll practically be done with everything up to Grand Dream City and then
I can finish up what I've started there. God help me when I get to the Help Requests part.
How about this as an updated team for Valerie? ;P

`Tonight's final leader reveal of Bracket 2 is brought to you by the magnificent Bazaro. Bask in my glory! Bask!
A brilliant young girl, Haley grew up an orphan, caring for not only herself but her sister, Helen for 10 years. Self-educated in books and on the streets, Haley has grown to shut out the cold, unforgiving world around her, symbolized by the coat she seemingly never takes off. She often comes across as cold, but under the rough exterior beats a warm heart.
Let it go, let it go~
Turn away and slam the door~
I don't care what they're going to say~
Let the storm rage on~
The cold never bothered me anyway~ -

Oh god. Trick room shenanigans this early? Yikes.
Kind of a little late for that. 2 of the B1 gym leaders are already basically abusing the living hell of TR right now.
2 hours ago, The God Fist said:Wait, wasn't this guy one of the higher ranked leaders in S1? Now he's only in bracket 2.
IIRC, he was a B6 leader but also had a very low win-rate as he had very few challengers. I thought that he'd fall a few tiers, but to fall directly to B2 is kind of unexpected.

Is that the Psychic leader? Wow. I admit Fairy being low was a bit expected because, while powerful, they don't get much coverage to deal with their weaknesses. But I did not expect Psychic to end up this low.
If that's not the Psychic leader, then I'm not sure which one it is.
Psychic isn't really that strong of a type anymore as it was in the early gens. Sucker Punch basically annihilates the vast majority of Psychic sweepers and they don't have that many reliable counters against Dark types, as Focus Blast has a ridiculously low accuracy rating. Plus, Bug types have gotten extremely strong with the recent gens so that further makes the squishy type even worse.

Wait, is this the same Dexter as S1?

Fairy is one of strongest type in monotype. Why we have it so early? Wasnt expecting it till Bracket 3-4
The brackets are an indicator of leader ability, not mono-type strength, especially as many leader know how to cover their team's weaknesses *cough*Venus*cough*. Ariel's not a bad trainer per-se but the leaders in the higher brackets are more skilled than xem.

Because the desert does little to help her, the only hing it does is activating sand force, sand veil and sand rush which potent only help a small section of the steel types and not even the notorious steel stypes. On top of that the field boosts sunny day and heat wave.
The fairy tail field on the other had boosts steel type moves and has synergy with known steel type moves and abilities.
Should be self-explanatory. It basically gives an innate boost to her mons. Also being a Steel-type leader means that she won't have much issue dealing with Fairy Types.
Nullifies one of Steel's hardest weaknesses. Basically, this means that Fire would just do normal or even NVE damage to most of her mons, barring x4 weak to Fire mons like Ferrothorn or Scizor. Also makes her Skarmory have only one weakness.
- Stance Change will raise the bearer's Attack and lower the bearer's Defense by one stage when switching to Blade form, and raise the bearer's Defense and lower the bearer's Attack by one stage when switching to Shield form.
In short, this makes her Aegislash a lot more scary by giving it a x1.5 DEF boost while in shield form and a x1.5 ATK boost while in Blade form, especially how Aegislash basically has extremely high base stats already.
-
Moves that gain Steel typingEdit
- Cut
- Slash
- Secret Sword
- Sacred Sword
-
Moves that increase in base power to 1.5xEdit
- Night Slash
- Leaf Blade
- Mystical Fire
- Ancient Power
- Relic Song
- Magical Leaf
Basically, this means that Aegislash will have pretty much a STAB'ed Sacred Sword and her other mons will greatly enjoy the boost from Night Slash. Good luck dealing with this monster that has 150 base ATK and all of these multiplier on top of it. Especially since it'll be taking neutral damage from Fire and will have 150 DEF along with a further 1 stage defense bonus.
Moves with amplified stat changesEdit
Shield MovesEdit
- Crafty Shield and Flower Shield will boost the user's Defense and Special Defense one stage in addition to their usual effects.
- Spiky Shield will protect from moves that do not inflict damage in addition to its usual effects.
- King's Shield will lower an attacker's Special Attack 2 stages on contact and will protect from moves that do not inflict damage in addition to its usual effects.
60 BP STAB priority moves from a M-Scizor after using what's pretty much a physical tail glow. Yeah, really. Also mention that it only takes x2 rather than x4 damage from Fire-type moves. And the King's Shield buff makes the already ridiculous Aegislash even worse. If the battle happens to be on a Fairy Tale field WITH constant Sandstorm then you'll also have to deal with the possibility of Excadrill sweeping your team.
So yeah, if we fight Titania in the Fairy Tale Field, it'll be a far more difficult fight than if we fight her in the desert field. Yes, her Excadrill will love perma-sand, but that's pretty much it when it comes to boosting her team. Plus, this leaves her team vulnerable to Heat Wave spam, so I really think we'll be fighting her in that field instead.

To be fair there could be problem with abilities as well, since they have specific id as well... The easiest would be like sarum said, make sure that said pokemons don't have any abilities/moves that were added in this mod.
Well i didn't really think gen 7 would be added so fast so i didn't really take that into consideration. Anyway when E17 pbs becomes avaible i will TRY to get some sort of converter/fix, so that anyone that played with this mod in e16 could play on same save file on e17 and no longer need this mod. Hopefully, it shouldn't be too hard.Regardless, since I predict E17 will come out rather soonish (few months maybe? just guessing), I would recomend anyone that want to start new game with gen 7 starters, to just wait for new episode
Abilities probably won't be that problematic. PE's engine treats moves and abilities in two different ways. Pokemon have their moveset assigned as an integer array of size four, and each of these moves have their own specific IDs, a mismatch in the mod and E17's id moves, say Darkest Lariat being n+2 in the mod and n+18 in E17, will cause the move to become another one. Abilities however can only be from a variable from 0 to 2, with 0 and 1 being the mon's first and second natural ability and 2 being its hidden ability. In the pokemon PBS file, the abilities for each specie is defined and thus the values of 0 to 2 are assigned to abilities by their ID name rather than number, so as long as Marcello and you have both put the abilities in the correct order, it should transfer without any problems.
