  1. Ok, I think I've caught up with everything. If only @Chickens could keep his announcements channel clean, that would seriously help. So yeah, ignore my previous questions. It's crystal clear now. Boat was right; I hadn't read. My quite sincere apologies. Now, as for @Walpurgis, my letter included your name, but says that at least one of you (Lia, Alistair) are Third Party, meaning 1. Lia is TP, Ali isn't. 2. Ali is TP, Lia isn't. 3. Both Ali and Lia are TP. Nevertheless, we ought to examine every possible choice, and check the bandwagons from yesterday. If what Lia assumes is correct, that the mafia have split themselves asymetrically, we must follow voting patterns, even if we're off a bit. They wouldn't naturally all vote against the same people, nor would they all go towards the same boat. Inside the mafia faction, they would know if any members of theirs were inactive, and thus could foresee this turn of events, since they could see how the reactions would go. If the general silence does not indicate a deliberate approach by the mafia, but a general inactivity amongst us, I'd wager the more inactive members of the mafia faction went towards the boat with the more activity, in order to be able to blend in more easily. Conversely, we got (at least) 2 here, one of which is active, and the other is following from the shadows, trying to jump into an opportunity, if it ever arises. [Eliminate] Yin
  2. @sailboat I was travelling the past few days and skipped through most stuff, as I usually do when Bean posts something. I can't help it. I should be able to spend more time tomorrow to properly read through everything. I just came to say hello and what my letter showed.
  3. @cicada @Aldo I might not be able to vote against any of you, but I can still ping you. The threads were made in order to be read. Otherwise, it would have been Discord channels.
  4. Lol nope. Btw, @Chickens how does it work now? Does each New_Boat lynch a separate person? Does each New_Boat lynch people only from their own boat? Will we ever merge together again? Can our Night or Day actions affect people on the opposite boat? Since it's actually of no consequence to read the other thread, I will disclose here that I got a "letter" [Thanks to quessing (almost?) correctly, along with 2 more] Either Lia or Alistair is Third Party. @Walpurgis I will need verification from Bean first, but I would like you to tell us a bit about yourself, to remove all discrepancies. Btw I guessed that today, D4, there will be alive: 13 Town (Baker) 6 Mafia (Baker Union) 7 TP (Shady People) I will proceed to ping all in our boat, because we still need t comment and exchange information, but also as a better list than the one Bean and Cass made. @Hypurr @Walpurgis @YinYang9705 @Bazaro @Sopheria @mimi @Astra125 @GenEric @Arch @sailboat @Jace Stormkirk @Dive
  5. @LykosHand doggy please, you and I have played together from all possible standpoints Have you still no grasp of my methods? Keeping one eye fixed on me means you don't have it for anything else. @Walpurgis Tell the others in the chat I am disappointed I never get invited to such parties. Worst case scenario you only have 1 mafia in there. Better case scenario, you have more. Why don't you share their names? Besides, why don't you let me have my fun? We could have fished ourselves a big one. [Unvote] Eviora [Eliminate] Drago
  6. Evi almost never plays, unless it's a game from Ali. It's only natural she'd use her position to gather the looks and get herself killed. The question would be "why". 1. In the case we lynch her as Jester/Fool, we've got ourselves twice the profit. Nano would be lying in his claim to have assassinated Amine, due to the curse by the Jester. Thus has given himself a target, either by mafia or vigilante or tp killer We give Drago one chance to provide an item. He's a known TP, so delaying the inevitable would be meaningless to him, and it's too early to make an alliance with the mafia. The description he provides is quite lackluster (sending items to himself and all that), so if possible, I'd lynch them both today, However, I believe Evi's play not to indicate the Jester. The reason: It would be incredibly sloppy. An actual Jester would either ask to be lynched instantly when we have no other targets, or wait till they are "caught" being silly. The former cannot be the case, as Evi initially tried to blame Boat. Then acted as if there was a bw on her. There wasn't. She made sure there was after that. The latter cannot also be the case, because Boat is always appearing scummy, through trolling and never seriously showing his hands or actively scumhunting. She turned towards this "persona" after seeing a few vote against her, and is actively campaigning for it. The luck etc thingy is sth people often do, simply to have more fun. For all I'm concerned we can dismiss everything she says. In my opinion she is either actually part of the mafia, or another meaningless third party (but NOT the jester). She named 4 people as other mafia, didn't she? (Crimson, Jace, Anti, and Nicki). I'm pretty sure Bean has made 6 roles for mafia, and I'm almost certain all of them are in. 2. In the case we lynch her as Mafia Member, we have nothing. She would have actively gamethrew to relieve herself of the burden of having to pay attention to a confusing game like this, and has also taken the spotlight from other people, possibly also belonging to the mafia faction. Sure, we will have eliminated a mafia member. That's it. I would give her more chances of being a different TP, then a Jester, finally Mafia \(-_-)/ I would be more interested in Drago's original bandwagon, because as I exclaimed, it would be helpful for both town and mafia to eliminate him. I provided an easy target. Now, if we have a spotter (someone who can check lynches and see how many non-town there are), or a cop of sorts, we can work together with a limited pool. Naturally not all mafias would jump onto the same bandwagon, but by the movement of the votes, we can make our own safe bets. In the case that Evi actually flips Jester, we can always re-kill Nano, and be done with an actual mafia member trying to lay low by claiming a role, practically unlynchable. For those who don't keep note, with my vote it's 7 against Drago 8 agaisnt Eviora @CrimsonDragon21 don't you dare skip my text.
  7. Given my role is way too circumstantial to have an actual use, I could use a crystal ball tonight. If a 30 player game ends after a role's lynch, I will never host again. Let's see whose luck is better, Nagitowo [Unvote]Drago [Eliminate]Eviora
  8. @cicada @Eviora @Candy @GenEric @LykosHand @Newt @Walpurgis @CrimsonDragon21 @Nano4 Per chance you never read "What Lurks Below", the Ancient Being kills 2 people each night after reveal. We might need to kill it twice. One lynch, and one night kill for the mafias. I encourage people to co-operate in this. My apologies Matt, but the exact same way town lost in that game, was by being convinced they could win alongside the Ancient Being. Spoiler alert. They were massacred.
  9. I am perfectly aware that... 1. The results I got are all towards Third Party [then again it's Bean the one providing them] 2. An executioner-role is likely to exist in this setup. [in fact it's the only possible defensive line against my attack to drago] My only regret is not posting a bit sooner. Now I'll have to rely on people's timezones to see my claim. Unfortunately travelling and being able to access only via phone is applying a limit to my options time-wise. However, seeing that the first day ran without actual progress, or enough pressure to make people spill the beans, it looks like this is a compass we actually needed. This way, we are essentially gaining momentum we didn't have, because the other targets are actually (almost certainly) not the Cthulhu, so I'm thinking that was more of a goose chase than anything. Returning to playing after having hosted in a few, and died early in another few, it feels refreshing to be actually capable of contributing. keep me safe kthxbye For the skeptics: Even in the case that I belong to the mafia faction and through this reveal am being exposed, the Ancient Being is a threat to all factions. Applying Bayes's theorem, town has more to gain by believing me and lynching Drago, than it has by taking any other option.
  10. If you're caught in the glare of the pidgeon, you can only forfeit your life. It will shit on everything you love.
  11. @Falirion If you can "control" how your cursed messages appear, try to pick one of these options. I'm trying to read it, but understand only half. Try to somehow organize this chaos and possibly re-write all your previous messages in a way that makes more sense for us to understand, while still remaining cursed. Right now, the most optimal route for me is to simply avoid the trouble. I present some alternatives. 1. Write the words backwards. 2. Keep the first and last letters "correct" and mix the interior. At least we'll have a clue. 3. Move the letters by pairs. First 2 move 2 spots, and the last go in front. 4. Use an ATBAS encryption system and save us the trouble. You can now stop and remove all your placeholder votes, for I have found a Third Party. A comedian-esque role has visited my chambers last night, and revealed that DRAGO is Ancient Being / Jester / Coyote Therefore [Eliminate] Drago
  12. Alright. Since it has come to this, I shall declare the game is over. Well done to Town for winning this! Because I am currently travelling, I have asked from Nano to take over and write a beautiful end phase post. Thanks to everyone playing!
  13. Town v Town provides some of the most interesting petty squabbles. Unfortunately it also allows the scum to blend in more naturally. [Eliminate] No-one
  14. DAY THREE As I exit my gallery, brush of red still in my hand, I take a good look back at my monochrome canvas. While one may criticise the brutality of the actions, one ought to simply respect the solid foundations upon which the whole scheme was created. When others were struggling to suppress, success hid in allowing the uninformed and uneducated masses to freely express their opinions and be refuted by the scholars who always knew how to strawman then and take them on their side. Abusing political power to adhere to the masses' beliefs, while putting on a show claiming you have deeper knowledge than them, all in order to continue holding the reigns and using their faith for your own selfish goals, was irrefutably cold, but solid. It was gold. The compass of the kingdroms, fiefdoms, and even democracies to follow the initial nomadic lifestyle were all based on what unifies the people. A wiser man than me named it "The opium of the masses" and nevertheless knew well about opium. I hope it's not hard to follow; after all the story is engraved in your everyday lives, no matter where you stem from. In free countries, with freedom of speech that is, the extremes are not to be observed so plainly. In others, who wish to be named likewise but essentially have been basing in various quantities their freedom on debts to the respective religious foundation, it becomes apparent when you simply glance over the possessions of the church. Then you can see the hypocricy; those who preach tolearance have started campaigns against minorities. Those who preach love have been actively stepping over others' human rights. Those who fervently talk about strict lives without luxury are often dressed in expensive suits, or even wear garments of silver while holding sceptres of gold. The power however, lies with money. And the beneifts it can offer. Such benefits might be the removal of dangerous fragments of the fickle medieval society. The lack of expression of ideals and beliefs, the straightforward clash of ideas against what is considered divine, all might lead to your extermination. Either you will simply vanish, without trace, or you will be made a spectacle, in order to terrorize the others. In order to avoid having to repeat the same, and instill feat in the hearts of the potential infidels. I wonder, what the criteria might be. Until then, I might as well censor myself with Godspeek. There were some though who wouldn't falter at such danger, their existence already being seemingly thin. Such a being was Bok, dubbed "Veggie". We didn't give him a proper goobye, but that's perfectly in line with how we always faced Bok. We always avoided him, as his existence was too thin for us, as if he was transparent. It's not surprizing, that even I forgot to post a proper farewell, to a creature that has promised so much, but his voice always fell on deaf ears. Another creature was Amine. He was always a bit of a loner, a bit of a weirdo, a bit of a nosy little thing; wanting to find out exactly what you did last summer. Naturally, the way he approached each situation was not the most accurate, but his keen eyes and sharp wit always found a slither of hope upon which he was hung, and found the needed motivation to keep on. He once told us during his confession, that he strives to find out how others are happy. That's why he follows and listens to what god says to them. Tonight, all God had to tell Amine was that his days on this earth had come to an end. It rests on us to accept his fate, forgive him, and move on. Now, as for why I am the one conducting todays sermon, the reason is quite obvious. Falirion was nowhere to be found. We searched his house, opened his cellar and the secret door behind the bookcase, to no avail. He had disappeared, and all traces of the attack were also gone. It's as if nobody has ever entered his house, never broke the lock, didn't even leave marks of combat, bloodstains, DNA. Even in the case of a rapture, one would think God would leave a sign. This was so carefully planned and executed with surgical precision. I wonder if you are going to miss him, but certainly I am not allowed to even think otherwise. He was a good priest, and an even better combatant against etherial malice. In other, more enticing news, I would like you all to make a stand, and welcome a new member in our church. She has been cleared of all her sins, received the clarity of the Holy Spirit, met with God himself, and though His power returned from the heavens to preach in his name. Candy has returned from the grave, by the help of our very local Lazarus Pit. The specialist we hired for the job proved not to be a quack after all. 15. Revealing a person is the only thing that works, as our roles are based on other people playing the game. By choosing to reveal, say Nano, you will not reveal Player_Nano's role, but what Role_Nano does, for whichever player has it.
  16. @Falirion I'm pretty sure Aldo is baiting. There is no way he'd know, yet he presents it as a given. No need to eliminate him now. Plus I'm feeling bad for him, seeing that he died so early in the last few games. I'd rather play with him a bit longer in this one. [Reveal] Newt [Eliminate] Dive You are not as we remember you @Daniel Blackworth. Did school suck all the life out of you?
  17. I suppose he either forgot about you, or you're simply lying. Honestly, I have no idea what Bean is aiming for or what is actually happening, but there are factions, there are deaths, and there are roles. There is no bread. [Eliminate] Bean
  18. DAY TWO - OVER This was a very weird day, with various levels of commitment, and ... let's say not the best one quality-wise. You need to co-operate more. Apologies, but I'm exhausted and will make this short. Bok is dead long live the Bok yada yada Slim Shady, yada yada Shadow Ballz, yada yada Still Haunted by The Past [ideas that won't be properly implemented because I can bearly keep my eyes open] I see nobody gets modkilled. That's positive. Nano's always vigilant. As per custom, he shall hand over the warnings, right afterwards. No worries, he's not that bloodthirsty on Tuesdays. Oh, it's not Tuesday... Shame.
