As if the twin jokes with the images couldn't stop. Jokes aside, when I was brainstorming the parents, my original idea for the father was that he originally came from Unova and settled down at Dewford when he met Akako(Robert's Mother). So, if you actually want to rope genetics into this, we could have this joke have that kind of footing. Just a little idea if you want to use it.
