  1. Oh, okay then. If you say so, I'll just edit it then. Just didn't want to give it Confusion early. There we go, though I'll go without Assist since it was mainly put there to due to lacking Confusion. @Dobby: Yeah it was a surprise to see it myself too. Don't worry, my plan isn't Status moves when it comes to Riolu, more so chose it for both personality reasons and the resulting Justified whenever Kiai gets' to the level required for friendship.
  2. Okay, got my second Pokemon picked. Espurr may not get Stab by egg move or before level 9, but I'll deal without if until we get to that point.
  3. Hehehe, good, I was about to freak out and rush myself to act due to all the Christmas Eve/Day activities. I'll still get up my post and 2nd member up soon.
  4. James and Robert "Oh yeah, Robert here." His face showed a bit more ease once things went for a possitive turn, greatful for it. "And yeah I guess some of it was self explanatory, but it is the first day introduction after all. And with the 'trainers' with the Dragons... I kind of think it's just an example. I mean, almost any Pokemon can likely mess you up if it felt it needed to, the point was to not mistreat any Pokemon you own or in the wild." After a while of walking forward on his own Kiai noticed that he was walking alone, turning back and eventually meeting back up with his trainer.
  5. Robert himself had been stuck in his daydreams as he walked to the boys dorm, thinking about what tomorrow could bring. All the possible partner choices, the classes, hopefully the dorm being and a safe place to sleep even tonight... Getting bumped, however, brought his focus back to what was around him, along with who had just bumped into him. "O-oh, sorry about that. Was I in the way?" He looks back at the other person, hoping as much as he could that things wouldn't turn bad with this, even hoping for neutral at this point.
  6. Understood. Feel free to bunny him if you need a way to get it to happen, or just say what I need Robert to do in order for James do his thing.
  7. @Azeria: I'd defidently be up to send Robert your way if you want some interaction, just trying to come up with a way to get it to happen if you'd want that to happen. If not, I can wait for anything else.
  8. As the speech finally ended Robert got up, a smile wide on his face in excitement with Kiai giving a matching smile. The idea that this was not only their first day here, but with all the things to come with their apparent new partner to come just tomorrow, it just got them pumped. The Riolu himself expressed his excitement with some jabs to the air, keeping them close to avoid anything bad events. As Robert began to head out with Riolu his mind trailed to all that had already happened today. The first person he met here... Ended up running off because of something wrong Robert had said. He met others, but that was because of the dorms apparently having ghosts. He sighed and shrugged, talking to himself as he started to continue on out. "Well... Let's just hope things get better. It's the first day after all."
  9. If you need/want an encounter, Robert's open as an option.
  10. Hmm, well despite how much the phrase 'Pokemon Academy' reminds me of Ymora, the closest thing I remember is one of the Ruby Destiny games
  11. As soon as the speech continued Robert had put his Pokedex back in his pocket, having all his attention on the speech and slideshow. Once the slide of the dragon's backs was shown, his eyes widened and went back in his chair in disbelief. The context, while believable, left an even worse feeling in his gut as he was disgusted by the trainers who did that. 'W-why? What was wrong with these kind of people. Scarring their own Pokemon... Just horrible...' Yet at the same time, the slide afterwards was just as shocking. The sight of those same trainers, getting hit by karma being bittersweet. However much they deserved it, the fact that either's pain had to happen was still a sad sight. The next part, while not relieving the feelings, did bring some relief. Hearing how the school had defidently limited these kinds of situations gave some definite hope to him. While the saddening thoughts still lingered, he kept on listening to the speech, and was surprised to hear the mention of getting another partner. That same part had Kiai's ears perk up as the Riolu heard the news, a happy cry coming from the excited Riolu and bringing a light smile to Robert's face. "Hehe, let me guess, excited at the idea of a training partner?" At the mention of that Kiai turned back, chuckling and nodding to his trainer. With a hand now rubbing Kiai's head, Robert chuckled back as they both turned their attention to the stage.
  12. As instructed Robert had gladly pulled out his Pokedex and student card from his pocket, placing the later in the card reader and being met with information. Sure enough it had it all, name, Trainer ID, and the important 100 BP to start off with. The BP itself seemed to make the most sense in the way that successes and responsibility all had a solid reward to them. And this all was just the first parts of the speech, and as such Robert kept his ears open for the rest. Kiai however was just focused on the battle-part of the speech. After all, apart from the food it seemed the battles were the one thing that he himself would need to worry about so far, and with his focus solely on the battles the promise of challenges and even tournaments brought a spark to the Riolu's eyes.
  13. Robert sighed in relief after the 'ghostly presence' seemed to fade, fear being replaced by confusion. Was there a reason that it just ended so quickly? While unsettling, seeing others head back in put some ease in his mind. With a deep breath he went in, Kiai in tow as the Riolu still kept a watchful eye as they walked through the dorm. Eventually they made it to the dorm room that the key's number read. "Hmm, guess this is ours then." With a slide of the keycard he opened the door, getting a short glimpse before the announcement started. "To all first years students; please gather at the Contest Hall where Professor Redwood will welcome you and your families personally. There he will explain how things like the Battle Points System works as well as how to obtain your second Pokémon. He will also inform you about the excursion to a Dragon Breeding Facility. The welcoming starts in 30 minutes!" Robert's attention was caught fully by the announcement, nodding to himself one it started repeating. "Welp, guess unpacking will have to wait. Let's just hope it'll be a positive experience now." Robert lightly chuckled as he set his backpack down in a chair and went back out of the dorm room, Kiai staying in the room longer in an attempt to check the room for anything bad. "Come on Kiai, you can check whatever when we get back, okay?" While a bit apprehensive the Riolu nodded back, doing one final look before following Robert out with the contest hall as the goal.
  14. Breloom defidently~ I used him in, like, ~75% of my Hoenn playthroughs.
  15. As the ghostly yelling came out, Robert's lost his balance and fell back, looking wide eyed at the entrance until it finally settled down. He got to his feet as quick as he could, getting to the topic at hand as soon as he took a breath. "I don't really know Lucas. Though whatever it is, I don't think we want to wait for it to give us the answer. At least someone's already running for help, so we've got one end covered." While not as fearful as his trainer, Kiai was shaken by the ghostly shouts as well but still did his best to stand ready with his shaky legs. He didn't know what was coming, but he couldn't give up just yet, battle or not.
  16. True... I'll fix that.Edited: Re-done. Also, while I admit the first writing was a bit straight forward, I can't really have Robert be too afraid since he's only been told the general idea instead of witnessing it.
  17. After what happened with Kage sunk in, Robert walked the rest of the way to the male dorm, making sure to keep some distance between him and Kage to avoid angering the other trainer even more. Once he saw Kage enter he let out a sigh of relief and went towards the door himself, hoping that he'd have enough time to calm down and come up with an apology in his dorm room and that the time would allow Kage to lose some anger at him as well. At least, that was the plan, but was quickly pushed back when another person ran right into Robert and pushed him to the ground with Kiai getting a similar hit. "Sorry about crashing into you..." Robert looked up at the trainer, rubbing the back of his head from the pain as he spoke. "Er... it's fine, I guess... I might have deserved that for having something else on my mind." As Robert spoke to Kenny and then focused on Lucas's words afterwards, Kiai was mainly giving Ignizelka a confused look as the Fenniken was explaining things, not having much of an idea what they just walked into. "Uh, ghosts? Really, ghosts in the dorms?!" Robert looked at them in shock, letting the idea sink in. These two were in there already, so it only made sense that he'd believe them. He sighed, sitting up and looking at the boy holding the door open. "Okay, so... Ghosts... Well, things just keep getting worse and worse. So, since you two are the ones who were in there, is the plan running from here, or pushing the line between courage and stupidity to help the others inside?"
  18. @Cyaloom: I'm personally fine with the bunnying, the event actually helps me come up with something anyway. So yeah, I have no problem going along with it personally.
  19. Through the situation Robert was only able to Kage in confusion, only being able to get out 'w-wait' by the time Kage had already started running away. Though he tried to keep up for a bit with Kiai following swiftly behind, Robert eventually gave up, letting what happened sink in as he watched Kage running the rest of the way to the dorms. "Idiot, idiot..." His hand went over his face, shocked at how things so quickly turned sour in the conversation as he murmured to himself. "Great, first person I meet and I aggravated them already."
  20. "Uh, not really. That kind of music just isn't my thing. I mean, everyone has their own opinion, but it's not for me." He let out a light chuckle to himself, hoping he answered right before looking around from Kage's second question. "Hmm, yeah I'm pretty sure it is. Though I guess we'll just have to get there to be sure, right?"
  21. I'm not exactly sure, I'm following what Murdoc is doing but I'm not sure if he has something.
  22. During the silent period Robert and Kiai had both been moving their head s left and right as they walked, taking in the new surroundings. Not like it wasn't expectable, this was a brand new place and it wouldn't really be a good idea to lose track of your surroundings. Robert's attention was quickly taken by the question, taking a bit to come up with an answer as they kept walking. "Hmm, my favorite kind of music, huh? Well... I guess the kind of music I like just needs a good beat. Something that gets in your head, easy to remember." He thought a bit more for if he could think of anything else, but that seemed to be the best answer he could come up with.
  23. Robert nodded at Kage, following right near with Kiai behind him. He pondered asking for the same treatment as Lucas but decided to avoid it, deciding to just keep walking on his own. "Sure, guess that makes enough sense. Besides, maybe we'll find something while we go around here."
  24. "Oh, the Breeder Program. Well that's cool. As for entertainment... I'm not exactly sure really since this is my first day around here after all. Heck, I don't even know what the dorms look like." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, not really having much of an answer for him. "Though I assume it wouldn't be too hard to find something to do in the free time. This IS somewhere we will be staying for a while." The Riolu stepped back at the pulse until he heard the friendly murmur, chuckling back and trading off with a very light Vacuum Wave back which was pretty much just a friendly light breeze, especially since typing resistances would make it feel even less.
