Water types are sorta scarce, but they're some good ones. Best you can do is Swampert (A Mudkip can be found via event in Byxbysion), Omystar, Azumarill (With Huge Power, might wanna ev train in attack at least a bit to make the most of his attack double), and Vaporeon. Some okay options are Carracosta, Crawdaunt, Octillery, Quagsire, Gastrodon.

Get Knock off on your Drapion, replace it with Hone Claws. Get wood hammer on Torterra, and ditch Rock smash and Brick Break on your Primeape for coverage moves. Go and train some reserves up for rotation. I'd reccomend Rapidash/Camerupt/any other fire type you'd be willing to train to cover for your big Ice weakness (Best you can get is Arcanine/Chandelure/Darmanitan). A steel type will round out your team defensively and help you against your fairy weakness (Best = Metagross/Magnezone/Klinklang/Escavalier) If you want to replace Primeape, consider Conkeldurr/Sawk/Emboar for a better fighting type. You may wanna replace Sharpedo for a bulkier water type, since Drapion already has you covered for a Dark type and you're not going to make much out of Sharpedo without a harder hitting moveset. Or, you know, you can take the above guys advice and breed your way to perfection, but expect to sap away decent portion of your time.

For me Iolia didn't feel much like a puzzle as it did "Go as far as you can and press this switch then go back..." not really much to figure out. Though the area was nice so I didn't terribly mind, I pointed it out to voice my concern that tedious/mindless puzzles were becoming a trend. It wasn't nearly as bad as Crustle hell.

Some of the pokes are hard to see in the cages (Like Roggenrola) so you may have missed one.
-
Well once you understood what you had to do it was just an hour or jumping over rocks and using strength. Then you're punished heavily if you fuck up even once by having to go all the way back with the powders. The puzzle loses appeal very quickly. Lag from the legion of rocks doesn't help, either. Blackstream factory and some gym puzzles (2nd, 4th) were pretty good. Pre-Arceus fight logic puzzle as well.

*Raises hand* On the topic of suggestions for improvement, I just want to say that I've been a little disappointed in the recent overworld puzzles (Crystal Cave and Crustle Puzzle). Relative to Reborn's better puzzles, they were both tedious and not very challenging. A lot of "running around doing stuff" and not "running around in confusion trying to figure out how this works." The latter kind of puzzle will be rewarding, after you've completed it you'll feel as if you've earned the boss battle/event that occurs afterwards. The former kind just feels as if the game is trying to stretch itself out. I never want to see a Crustle again

Breeding isn't something you need to do for this game at all, especially if you've gotten this far without it. Doing so now will probably make things easier in the future, and might allow you to kill some time to wait for the next update. But foremost, getting an HM slave to do your dirty work is something you can easily do.

I like your team. Nothing is very good besides the Chesnaut, but there's something charming about running through the game without good pokemon, it's how I played through most of the game. That being said, you might want to train some more pokemon to use in rotation with your team. At the very least a Dark type to help you deal with Ghosts/Psychic. Drapion, Houndoom, Honchcrow, Umbreon, and Shiftry are decent options off the top of my head. A ground type would give you more offensive coverage, Donphan, Diggersby (Only if +att nature and EV trained, though), Swampert, and Sandslash are some decent options.

Perhaps the initial quest could be stretched out into a "find the thief" ordeal as you go from town to town asking NPCs about the whereabouts of the guy who conned you until you get to the nth town and finally find the guy. Gotta work for that Carp

I was surprised to find out that Gengar can't learn SW by TM. Huh.

How can I improve my team? I'm at the end of the latest episode

Switch Ampharos for an Analytic Magnezone. Bam. -
I get a ton o' lag, too. But only on the left side of Agate.

If you are chain breeding, you're far more likely to choose the mons' that get all or most of what it needs. Passing TM moves down isn't game breaking on its own, but when you throw EV training into the equation gym leaders go from the juggernauts that put you at wits end to defeat to a nice little work out. At the end of the day, you're smarter than the AI, which is why it's perfectly fine for them to have better sets and mons. So even if your pokemon are even with theirs, it still gives you the advantage. Pain and suffering is what I play this game for.

Thanks for the info I think 6th gen mechanics would suit Reborn a bit better. Breeding should be a rewarding experience but being able chain until you get a competitive level moveset on top of EV training tips the seesaw and gives a player the uphill advantage against most same level challengers, and not vice verse like it should be.
-
Does passing on TM moves through breeding use the pre 6th gen mechanics (If the baby can learn the move as a TM move, it can inherit it through the father) or post 6th gen (Where TM moves can't be passed down unless they're lvl up/egg moves for the baby already).

I'm sure I bought a Ditto, right in the cage. Is that not supposed to be there? I'm on episode 12. I did find the arclight guy though, currently buying out the rest of his pokemon.
-
Where can you find him? I've purchased the ditto already but I haven't ran into him.
-
I saw a few posts that said you can get an Exp share on 7th street, but it's not in the items location list. If you can get it, how?
-
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but- What are the IV's of trainers? In particular important characters/gym leaders? And do all of these pokemon have neutral natures?

Pokemon Adventure Red is a neat Romhack that follows the plot of the pokemon manga. Unfinished but one of the most interesting out of the romhacks I've played. Zeta/Omnicron and Glazed are both okay, but sorta bland. Both well made games, but after playing so much pokemon just offering a lot of shit to fight and a large selection of pokemon ain't going to do it for me. Reborn's daunting challenges make me feel like I'm 7 again. I know pokemon inside out and yet it still manages to kick my ass. That's a good feeling. Don't see why people say Snakewood is good, though. Absolute garbage.
-
Bottom line: Read the Manga. The original content has much faster pacing. No filler arcs, no scenes that are stretched out far longer than they should be.
-
Mamoswine isn't as good as he could be in Reborn, due to lacking powerful Ice STAB. Lack of rock coverage sucks, too.
-
No need to ditch a pokemon over one leader, though. OP - Your team has decent synergy, but your movesets suck. Put Sludgewave on Gengar, get rid of rock smash on Arcanine in favor of nearly anything, replace powder snow on jynx with Frost breath. As for an additional member, your team is vulnerable to ground, and somewhat to fighting besides Gengar, who doesn't have the defenses to take a coverage move from a strong ground or fighting type. Also a bit vulnerable to fire. Consider adding a bulky water type. Water/Ground would be nice since you'll also be able to hit Electric types which you currently can't, so get Swampert/Gastro/Quag
