I guess it would depend on the STAB, how many opponents you're battling (since it only works once per battle,) and if you want to sit through the animation. Personally, I challenged myself and never used any Z moves, but that was just to test my own skill.

I'd wait until you got Incineroar's exclusive z move which would be more worth it than the fire one. 

It's exclusive is pretty much the same though? It's just got a set damage ((probably a mite higher than the usual.)) and it Dark Type. It's probably not crazy better than it. I think it's not really worth losing Acro coverage though ((since that move's base power is hilariously pathetic without the boosting due to not holding an item.)) to the point unless your STABs are hitting for NVE damage, they will out do Acro. If you want to maintain your coverage, or at least the version of your coverage with Acrobatics... I'd stick with no item. ((Flying coverage is very solid to have on Incinroar due to the fact that it is weak to fighting types and acrobatics allows it to combat them.)) So, One-off super crazy move, or consistent solid coverage ((that is a little redundant but it's ability to SE hit Fighting types is very good.))
