  1. That was quite a glorified "he did it, she did it" kind of conversation...
  2. The most important mission so far. Those words echoed in her mind. Even if she was not a part of the group she was taking orders from, she knew that it was in her best interest to do her best at this job. In the end, she needed to make contact and set up a meeting for talks. She simply replied, "Understood. I will contact you with the details as soon as I have finished making contact."
  3. Nagi picked up the paper with the address she was given. "That just means we have very minimal information about her, then. Well, I should be able to manage to find her with the address and information on her appearance, then. Would you rather I introduce myself as a hired proxy or a simple messenger to her, then?"
  4. Nagi never once responded to any of the other Protectors in the area as they scattered as she was only focused on one thing. With that, she listened attentively to the information she was given. Nagi crossed her arms. It seemed Noriko wanted to get her to arrange negotiations or at least some sort of diplomatic meeting with the Presevers. In all honesty, this was probably the best way to get a grasp on the situation. If the Preservers were behind the recent attacks, then this would be the best way to weed out that information. If they were not, that would also be brought to the light. Even so, various issues and possibilities existed such as the attacks being carried out by an underling from either faction without the knowledge of the higher-ups. In the end, it was a tricky situation but one where steps needed to be taken regardless. "I can do that. Do you have any information? A dossier containing name, appearance, and preferred locations would help streamline the process."
  5. You can build up a plan over a century, prepare massive funding and facilities, and put as much thought into it as you want. In the end, reality will easily bend those rails with a single outside element.

You can also make the most badass and awesome status which becomes invalidated when someone makes a dumb comment.

  8. The early months of Vermillion always seemed to produce a nice chill for most people. However, the warmth was relatively refreshing to the girl from Snowpoint. Even though the chill in the area was enough for her to see her breath, Yuzuki really found the feeling of the weather, even at the port, to be far nicer than the weather during even Snowpoint City's autumns. She even ended up leaving the hood of her longcoat down seeing as it did not seem necessary to have it up. She had been in the region for one night beforehand after arriving at night at Vermillion's port by ship from Snowpoint's own port. She ended up staying in a hotel connected to the city's Pokemon Center to get some final few hours of sleep before starting the next leg of her voyage. The girl gripped at the Pokeball in her hand as she made her way to the port area from the Pokemon Center. It contained Natsuki, the partner who had been with her for seven years, and the only Pokemon from her team which she did not leave behind with her family. Yuzuki's longcoat fluttered in the winds of the port as she made her way past the sign with crazy lettering. 'Price negotiable if willing to work.' She observed on the sign. It probably meant that whoever was going to take the ship had to do some odd jobs around the ship as compensation. It was not the best type of arrangement but Yuzuki really did not want to nor could she complain. After all, this was the only ship crew she found that was crazy enough to go to Arcadia. So, she made her way down to one of the sailors she saw in the mist. "Yuzuki Kuroyoru." She said in a straight and blunt manner. "I'm here to take this ship to Arcadia."
  9. Huh. My first thought when I finished was that I created the perfect midpoint between Kuudere and Dandere... I am perfectly fine with this.
  10. Fair enough. Thanks for the answer~ That's quite the role she's been put in...a sort of reality check character... Heh...Fair enough. All our characters are relative oddballs. Though, I kinda meant it in a way that she was an oddball in that she was the least odd out of the characters, based on what I saw.
  11. I'm kinda curious, Strat, but what about Yuzuki made her a good fit for the RP? She does seem relatively like kind of an oddball out of the group…
  12. New York City, to be specific. It's kinda why I have a special amount of affection towards Castelia City.
  13. I always thought it was just me who finds Unova to be his favorite, though that could be because I am biased as a New Yorker, myself.
  14. “The stars can be plucked from the sky so easily, so why are you so desperate to reach them? It’s not even remotely logical, but humans are creatures filled with that sort of passion, aren’t they? That movement of your hearts is the one thing I’m honestly jealous of.”

  16. 10/10 from a cat lover Actually, Dobby's avatar is still an animu. Personal preference is a weird thing like that. People will never fully understand their own.
  17. 7 badges/8 Are you talking about the avatar or the image in the body?
  18. I've been noticing a whole bunch of ToAru avatars suddenly popping up here. MMM, Dobby, and Ikaru. Is there a sudden spike in interest in that series here?

Meh. I'm a Touma fan myself. Absolutely love the character and I find him to be one of the best written protagonists I've ever seen.

  19. Considering that the cult tag was removed, my guess is that it's the name of the cult.
  20. It was a library. At its center was a lone figure standing in front of a mirror. Surrounding that area were three circular rings of wooden tables, each with gaps for people to move though. There was a high ceiling that left both floors of the library visible from where the figure stood. At a few feet behind the ultimate row of tables, a large number of filled bookshelves were arranged such that they expanded radially outward from the circle at regular intervals. The floor above, with an open center and a balcony fence that was touched by bookshelves arranged identically to the shelves on the floor below. The figure looked towards a nearby table and saw a diary with a name engraved into a metal plate on top of it. Maekawa Mie. The name written in kanji in Japanese order lay there on that blue diary. The figure could only assume that was her name. She was about to open the diary sitting on the table but as soon as she put her hand to the cover of the diary, she pulled it away. Even if it was hers, she still felt a bit embarrassed to look into it. So, she turned back to the mirror to get a closer look at her appearance. If one could put a few words to the image in the mirror, it would be stereotypical bookworm. She had jet black eyes and hair to match. Her hair extended down to where her T5 vertebra was positioned. She wore black-rimmed glasses which matched her hair and eye color. She was wearing what looked like a winter uniform for a high school composed of a white shirt with a ribbon tied around the collar and a pleated knee-length skirt. Tied around her waist was a navy blue cardigan which was likely part of the uniform. The last notable feature was the red scarf which was resting on the back of her neck and extending in front of her body. Mie continued to stare silently into the mirror as she let the time pass ever so slowly yet consistently.
