  1. Yay. The site's back~

  2. Idol and Magical Girl shows, yes. Though, Acqui would be your best bet for those. Though, it's not like I don't watch a breadth of series~ But, ToAru is pretty much a franchise I absolutely love. XD One could call it an obsession. But it's not. XD
  3. Ikaru may not be an expert on the series, but I am. Let me just point to a few things. About the "read the LN" ending of the second season, there is a reason why it was done that way. If you look at the PVs for season 2, you'll notice something interesting…action scenes for two characters who never had any actions. The PVs gave a quick preview of Terra using Execution of Light in the Palace of the Popes and Acqua swinging his weapon of choice in District 22, implying that the second season was going to originally adapt volumes 7-16. That's right. NINE Volumes plus 1 SS volume all in the span of 24 episodes. You can imagine how rushed the season would have been if the staff had gone through with that. At some point, the staff decided to cut down the volumes adapted to 7-13+SS1 and SS1 is pretty much the kickoff point for the GRS Arc of Index. Let me also point out that when Index's first season started, there were already 13 volumes written and double that amount by the time Index II started. Let's just say that the author is really good at putting out great content at a nice speed. Needless to say, the Index anime, I think, is great on its own. Plus, it did a great job of making me actually want to read the Light Novels. However, I will say, as someone who has read each volume of the novels 2-3 times at least, that the anime is sorely lacking in something the novels had. Character development for certain characters--Touma, Index, and Aureolus, for example, feel quite underdeveloped in the anime. However, the novels really take these characters and develop them well. The way Touma's character develops in both Volumes 1 and 2 for example are really powerful and are compounded by the later arcs. But I digress. I could probably write a full essay about this but that would be a long and daunting task and would probably be beside the point. That being said, it is a wonderful series with a wide world to explore and speculate about. So, if you have any questions about it, I'm your guy~
  4. Mini-Sister/10 Alright, I have PMed you then~
  5. One thing: Do bear in mind this when asking for recommendations. Providing a list (via MAL or Hummingbird as the commonly used ones) of what you have watched will generally help your recommenders pick out series that you may like. As such, if you are asking for recommendations, please do provide a list of series that you have watched. If you have a MAL or Hummingbird list, do link to it. It will make the recommendation process go a lot more smoothly and enjoyably.
  6. 200010/10 Railgun's anime is the weak point of the entire series. Aside from the Sisters Arc re-telling in the second season of Railgun, the entirety of Railgun's anime is the weakest link imo. You obviously have not met her best clone yet (which makes sense seeing as she has not appeared in the anime yet). Check my comment to your status tho~
  7. 10/10 That's…Last Order... Have you started to read or watch To Aru, KosherKitten?!
  8. So, a friend and I decided to watch Gakkou Gurashi Episode 1 together after seeing the preview synopsis on AniChart. So, we came in expecting a zombie apocalypse to start at some point towards the end of the episode. Throughout the episode, we pointed to all of the weird signs and foreshadowing like the text on the classroom blackboard, the shadows of the broken windows (which at the time we thought were figures looking into the building), the barricade of tables (which we wondered why they were there), the cross-shaped tomb in the roof garden, and so forth. When the OP came, we were like: this is such a bait-and-switch. Needless to say, we were completely on-guard for anything…or so we thought until the actual twist came and damn. We were caught by surprise and pretty much everything made sense at that moment. But damn. That was insane.
  9. 7/10 Meh. Nothing amazing but decent at least.
  10. …and people say Nana Mizuki has lost her touch. If 'Beyond the BLADE' and 'Towards the sky…" are anything to go by, she's still got it and then some. She's still one of the few artists I will actually fawn over and feel emotions from when listening to her music.

  11. That was my first time watching the Republian Debate live and I have to say, that was a riot. That being said, I did not get to see the debate among the smaller candidates who didn't make the cut for primetime. What to say? My memory fails me somewhat right now and I'm nowhere near an expert in politics so much so take what I say with a grain of salt. Trump-I have to say something about Trump. The guy can put on a good show. But he pretty much fumbled and failed when given the question about the evidence of Mexico doing things and the question about how well he could run a country if his multiple of his enterprises had fallen into bankruptcy. He dodged the questions so much and never answered them. Jeb Bush-Well, I think he along with other governors actually did a fairly good job with this debate. However, he did not seem to have the level of enthusiasm as the Trump and I think that kind of overshadowed him despite the fact that he actually gave some good answers like his one about the his statements about the Iraq War. Christie-On the other hand, Christie put on a good show and even did a great job of pulling Rand Paul's worst. I mean damn. As much as I agree for the most part with Rand Paul on what he said about the the 4th amendment and what not, Christie did a damn good job of making Paul look like a total ass. He was firm and kept a confident attitude while giving straight and direct answers which made him look really good in comparison. Huckabee-As much as I hate this guy, I will admit that he put a pretty good show and like Jericho, I actually really liked the 'fair tax' idea that he was pushing. Like Christie, he was in control of what he was doing to the end. Kasich-The nice guy. I liked him as a person from what little I've seen of him. However, from a public speaking standpoint, he was a failure. He really did not stand out too much. Walker-Okay...I think he was the one who talked about police training but I'm not sure. I often confused him with Rubio and that is not a good sign...He was quite forgettable overall Carson-He felt like a damn deer in the headlights. He'd probably get better with practice but he lacked the charisma and that honestly made him look really timid in my eyes. I remember saying this after his first answer "He's like a guy on the first day of his speech class." Ted Cruz-He was overshadowed by the others. The only thing I remember about him was that he said that we need a president that can be truthful...to which I promptly laughed...Aside from that...he surprisingly did not make as much an impression on me as I expected... Rand Paul-He was aggressive and not in the good way. He interrupted and overall just did not give a good atmosphere. Marco Rubio-When I was making this post, I had completely forgotten about him when I was making a post and was wondering "Who am I missing?" You can tell how much of an impression he made on me. I don't even remember any of his points. Overall...I think I graded them more from a public speaking standpoint in the end as opposed to a legit opinion on their points. Perhaps I should look back and actually see what they said...perhaps...
  12. That moment when the anime you're watching jumps off the rails even further than it already did.

      Episode 6~

  13. It was one thing after another. The girl who maintained her neutral expression even through the shock had many questions which all ended up connecting to the question, what the hell just happened? However, she realized considering both the scent and the sounds that there was no time to ask those questions and even if there was, nobody was there at the moment to answer them. In the end, what Yuzuki needed to do was simple. She needed to find some way to end the predicament and ascertain more information. She put the now empty cup of hot chocolate on the table, stood up, and released her Gardevoir. "Let's go, Natsuki." She said before walking carefully with Natsuki in tow to the stairs where Yuuki had headed to.
  14. The man had dropped quite the bombshell right there. The fact that Arcadia was nothing more than a metaphor to describe an amalgamation of conditions that had occurred in the earth's history. The fact that rumors about Arcadia had been artificially created and maintained for two years. It was jarring. Still, she showed no indication of being completely shocked. Instead, she simply sipped her hot chocolate and asked the obvious follow-up. "So, for what purpose was Project Arcadia developed, then? Why would the world be in need of this project?"
  15. That reminds me. I've never read Heavy Object or IntellaVillage. Those are the only two of his series that have been translated and I have not read…I should get to IntellaVillage soon...
  16. Umm…Ciel, I guess... If you could have any kind of magical/supernatural power, what would it be?
