We shall then lay his corpse to rest in a beautiful and lush grass plane. and proceed to set it on fire with Exlink trapped in xD Oh yeah, how many PM's could Noel send and to how many people? Is it unlimited or is it strictly one PM to one player? Because if it is the former, then that would explain a lot. -
Could be trap, but there are a lot of options here. It's also best that we establish who could be trusted and who could not be asap. If we trust Exlink now and he deceives us, it's best for that to happen now than later, we still have the advantage of numbers

Katsumi did as she was told, reaching for her primary pistol and clicking the safety off. She had located herself slightly ahead and to the left of the group, if one was looking down at bird's eye view. 'Twas an interesting stunt that Quiet had pulled, but she decided not to dwell on it too much.

Right then. Octavia stood for a few moments trying to decide who she would pair up with, but quickly made up her mind to go with her gut and she approached one of the horses to her left. As she approached the steed, she certainly felt a strong pang of guilt remembering her previous interactions with other horses. Before she didn't pay much mind to them, she used them and left with minimal greetings and farewells. It wasn't that Octavia disliked horses, but she never had the patience to talk to something and invest her time and energy to what she felt would have been a once sided relationship. Apparently things are not always as they seem though, and this was her chance to make up for that. "Hi," she said to the horse, pausing somewhat awkwardly to find her words. "What is your name? Mine is Octavia, pleasure to meet you."

I'm willing to give ExLink a chance, he can be dealt with if he is wrong/lying but at this point it is at least worth a try to see, if he is right then we come out ahead but if he is misleading us and we kill a poor innocent Sheep.... Well then. Although... If Sheep is innocent and Exlink was trying to trick us, then we know he is Mafia and the small group of 4 is cut down to 3. If that is the case, then it may sting, but looking at the bigger picture... Well actually, two people would be sacrificed then, because it would take a day to eliminate Link and over night there would be another death. hmmm.... The ratio would then be 7:3:1, right? We still would be ahead and we would also have a greater chance of finding a mafia, although that's not exactly a 'win' because we'd also be down a few. Worst case scenario, Link is Shade and he's just being a pain, haha! My current vote goes to Sheep

The aura beam failed to break through, although keeping the barrier up against another form of energy required more concentration for Alice, and it was very interesting that she couldn't get a sense of it like she could with something like electricity. Must be a pretty similar power. "Return the girl and I'll let you leave. This is the only warning I'll give you." Deciding that the others ahead would be able to deal with the person who apparently also tried to take Rebecca out of this place, Alice released the barrier. She would deal with this guy later seeing at how the group over by the portal would be able to take care of him. Besides, it would be in the interest of both parties to take out the jailer, things could be sorted out later, perhaps an arrangement could be made; and if not that would work too. "I'm sorry, but she is not yours to keep," Alice said, turning to the jailer, but keeping an eye on her other possible foe too. What is he going to do...? "May I ask why our friend is here?" -

Lia nodded, looking towards Brian and Zeke as they spoke and looking back to the paintings and art work, trying to determine what looks the most valuable and practical to carry in her backpack. Upon re-entering the house she had released Trix again and gave him a brief pat for his good work, but he looked rather disgruntled after the hosing down. He hated getting wet. Cirus was smirking faintly after exchanging a glance with Trix, but she remained on guard, sensing her trainer's unease. Aurelia certainly agreed that they should get going, but she couldn't quite place why she felt so strongly about it. Not to mention she felt absolutely terrified of getting caught or something bad happening. This was just a break in, she didn't want anything worst than a broken leg to befall a person. "We should hurry but judging from the level of paranoia this guy has, for all we know these are flashy dummies," she said, gesturing to the elaborate art work and vases. "Would they put their most valuable items in the entrance hall? Should we take the risk and go farther in or is this one of those 'hiding in plain sight' sort of things?" -

Katsumi took a good look at the faces of the people, memorizing them as they introduced themselves, trying to get a good gauge of their personalities from their demeanor as they did so. This group would make an interesting mix of individuals, though how well they would function in a team, Kats couldn't quite tell. Some of them seemed like they would try to keep the team together but others struck her as the type that wouldn't quite work to hard for that. Well, hopefully things would work out. "We'll be fine guys," she said flashing a grin to the group. "Anyway, my name is Katsumi Erdos, a scout, so- nice to meet you guys," she said, a faint sound of metal running against metal at a fast speed was briefly emanating from her left hand before stopping abruptly. She had given a brief flick to her spinner ring before stopping the moving piece and continuing her introduction. "I'm mostly here because, well, people are falling ill and dead left and right and this is a chance to stop it, I'd say that's a noble cause to risk your life for."

Well, Zeke seemed to have make it in alright, Lia thought, getting ready to make a dash for it to the door as well. Geronimo. Unfortunately, as she did make her dash, she waited a bit too long and the Growlithe had time to recover from the hosing down it received from Pixel and took a leap at the girl as she ran. Trix, bless his heart, took care of things, intercepting the lunge that the fire type made and tackled him to the ground, which gave Cirus enough time to move some of the water from the fountain using confusion and spray the dog, although the blast had hit Trix as well. Aurelia recalled Trix to his ball to keep them moving and she slipped into the house. -
So I tried LoL recently... This is not going to be good for my already poor social life....

And then there were three.... Katsumi mused briefly, her eyes watching as Arieta left the vehicle followed shortly by the blue haired sniper. She returned one of her two backup pistols to it's place on it's holster and stood up stretching. "Right then," she said to the remaining people in the room, one of which introduced himself as Garen. Now that she thought of it, she had seen his face around, although she never really talked to him. "I'm Katsumi," she said, passing by with a naturally quick walking pace and heading to the exit. "Pleasure to work with you, however brief it may be," the words were spoken with a grin and a light, joking tone even though they had such dark implications. Well, that was her attempt to lighten the mood, though truth be told she was quite anxious for this expedition. So many people were depending on them to return with a cure, and if they don't do it in time, they all die. That is also assuming the key to the cure could even be found in Eden. Lovely.

I think a general rule of thumb would be this; If you think of a strategy, before using it, make sure you can work out an effective counter/ flaw that your opponent can utilize. It's also funner to be in a close, intense battle rather than one that drags on because no one is landing hits.

Oh no he's not. Alice had caught a glimpse of a person after she came out of the portal, who was trying to get away with who she presumed to be Rebecca, though she didn't get a good look at her. She glanced briefly at the others in the room before pursuing the guy. Alice could see that it was a girl and likely the pyromancer mentioned, so it probably was Rebecca- who else could it be? She was running after him on the second floor and up to the first when she realized that she didn't even need to do so. Not long after they arrived on ground level, Alice stopped and made a solid invisible wall right in between the portal and the person she was pursuing, making it so that he wouldn't have a way of getting past and leaving.
