  1. Introduction: Our player stumbles into a peculiar object in the Opal Ward, warping him into the unknown depths of another world. Yet, he is unaware of the horrors that plague the cursed city of Sun Down, where nightmares and broken dreams thrive. As our player ruptures the thin fabric between these parallel universes, the terror is seeking out from within, and we have yet to see the true power of those who are aware and seek it. The MANUSCRIPT.

**EDIT: [7/6/14] What's up guys!! The fourth and final episode of SEASON 1 of the NEW WORLD SAGA has been released! Be sure to watch it as I've included some very interesting new aspects to the game! (it's interesting to me at least) Meanwhile, I'm working on adapting this story into Episode 12, after which I'll release the game folder online here for you guys to download and enjoy it yourselves!!

Although I'd like to hear from you:

Do you guys want the game file released? (as it may take time to adapt it to Ep 12, I have to see the majority's opinion first): Yes!! / No :( Please comment in your posts!)

    [Older Releases]:

Ok guys, so the next episode for the [POKEMON REBORN]:NEW WORLD Series is out!! Enjoy it well! I hope you guys do!! Anyways, I'm planning a surprise feature in this series in EPISODE 4, which will definitely intrigue some of you! So stay tuned! Oh, and of course, any feedback on my progress? :)

Ok so THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT GUYS! I was starting to consider if what I was doing was even worth it lately, but you guys have helped keep my focus!

For now, I'm planning to use re-coloured sprites from Reborn as placeholders, I hope that is fine with y'all!

  2. I was bored waiting for the next episode, and I had nothing much to do on the computer, and as my passion for MapleStory has been quashed by money-hungry Nexon, I decided to pay my childhood game a little tribute..

  3. @Cepheus

Erm I don't know how to explain fully well, but its some kinda glitch / bug that allows to to catch pokemon that aren't supposed to be. I'm not fully sure on how to reproduce it but I was certain I caught Scraggy before I got the Dull Key for some reason

    @Celestielle2

Upload your save file and I'll try to get the Pokemon you desire.

  4. what's wrong with it?? i breed like 1000 times in-game, and it works well (except egg moves for gen VI pkm don't work at all, like tyrantrum can't learn Dragon dance when breed it with gyarados). what glitch is that??

I'm not too sure, it may be me imagining things but I need another save state preferably with somewhat lots of bred pokemon already to see whether the glitch still persists. Mind uploading your save?

  5. Once again, Reborn is not for beginners who are seeking an easy environment to play in. It is the region with "the best pokemon trainers gathered" and where the difficulty is raised to suit the tastes of people who are seeking for challenge. If one is heavily reliant on overlevelled pokemon and taking advantage of the linearity of the latest metas, one will find oneself in a pinch in no time.

Having to grind your Pokemon up to the stage you are at now just to finally see the glimmer of hope of defeating the current gym is a pseudo-forfeit to those who have not prepared themselves for the unexpected. As such, we should always be ready for as many things as possible and keep an all-rounded team, and polish up on strategies.

  6. When battling the Ditto-Arceus, most of you here would not want to lose to that "el" dude. However you may not be able to walk the talk due to "some" difficulties. However, from this thread onwards, I can guarantee that you will be able to defeat him if you are willing to get cheeky.

    Requirements:

    1. Pokemon with Sturdy (at most 20 HP)

    2. At least 40 potions to be safe

    3. Patience (which those of you who have lost to him a billion times would have by now, being able to defeat him)

    Procedure:

    1. Using Common Candy, or any way possible, get a pokemon with sturdy and at most 20 HP. Try to level him to one. [The mountain at Apophyll beach has plenty of Geodudes]

    2. Before fighting El, put the pokemon in the front, with full HP.

    3. Engage in battle, and just keep using your potion every turn. Each potion will heal him up to full health again, allowing sturdy to reactivate.

    4. Wear him out, let Arceus use up all his PP. You know when he's running low on moves when he recovers with full HP.

    5. Let him struggle. If you want to take the risk, you can let your Sturdy pokemon faint and swap in another pokemon to gain the experience.

The end. Rinse and repeat for possible future single bosses.
