Cyndaquil might be my second favorite of the Fire-type Starters, but I can agree with you on the "let's destroy Mudkip" philosophy.
My favorite Fire-type starter got taken out of the running, as did my favorite water-type. I'm not gonna lose my second-favorites... Not just yet!

Hey, just letting you know, but there was an inconsistency between this run and the anime:
In the anime, Ash's pikachu is male. In this run, the pikachu used was female. I could tell because A). it's documented that Ash has a male pikachu on several different wikis, while the gender symbol indicated the pikachu was female; and B). In the anime, Ash's pikachu has a flat-ended tail (which is indicative of being male for a pikachu), while in this run, it had a notch-ended tail (which is indicative of being female for a pikachu).
Other than that, nicely done.

My arguments for why Mudkip and Bulba should fall out of the running:
Mudkip: That meme died a long time ago. it's time to let other starters hold the spotlight.
Bulbasaur: Genwunners. It'd serve those guys right if the ones they like would go away.
