    Ricochet - The Fight Ricochet was just about to launch his fists at his opponent as he rose above the water's surface, when his opponent's trident managed to skewer his cockpit, scoring a direct hit on the power generator in the process, delivering the final blow. As his mech powered down, he was about to use the last of the energy he had to speak to his opponent, but she left before he could, leaving him irritated. Lawrence - After the Match - Visit the Food Cart Once they were allowed to move, Ricochet decided to head to the mechanic's car. He was starting to get a little frustrated, with two straight losses under his belt so far, both due to him having not used his Special Attack when he'd had the opportunity. He was just about to key in the destination he'd decided on when he was struck with an idea. Wait a second... it's me that's the problem, not my mech. After all, a mech is only as good as its' pilot... Guess I might as well focus more heavily on my part of the equation, rather than my Mech's. Then, he keyed in his new destination, and was warped over to the food cart. He then got a tray, got his food, and sat down at the seemingly empty table.

    Route 2 - Russet Ridge - "Onwards to Striaton City!" - Jack Jack had paused for a second to try to get a better look at the person on top of the ridge, but quickly turned and ran up following the others when he remembered that this was no time to stop moving. Now at the rear of the group, he was easily able to keep up with the others, but he was still starting to sweat slightly from the exertion of having to run for such a long time on such a steep incline.

    Actually, I recently discovered that the Cafés here have free WiFi, and I can use that to post. I might have a bit of difficulty, but it's doable. And after Friday, it'll be even less of a problem, because there'll be in-home WiFi.

    I am currently in Cyprus, and the wifi is currently unavailable at my home. [EDIT]: Actually, I'll be able to post without too much trouble, seeing as one of the Cafés that has WiFi is very close to my current residence, and I'm getting used to the heat. And after friday, there'll be WiFi in the house, so there'll be no problem after then.

    Cinder - Sky Pillar Enclave Interior - Earlier that morning As Cinder walked around the enclave, a chikorita medic known around the enclave as Poppy rushed past him, making him need to stop in his tracks to let the healer rush by. As he looked towards where she was headed, he noticed the gathered crowd, and decided to investigate. However, he went at a walking pace instead of a run, knowing that he wasn't urgently needed in the plaza. Sky Pillar Main Plaza - Present time For the past few minutes, Cinder had been looking for survivors originally from the Johto Enclaves amongst the crowd, but to no avail. However, his questions regarding what had happened provided him with some info concerning what had happened, as well as the fact that there was going to be a gathering in the plaza. As he headed out of the crowd, he heard a voice shout, like it was complaining. As he went over to investigate, he could make out what it was saying more clearly. "First you insult me, then you ignore me? I don't know what part of the world you're from, but whoever raised you must have done it in a barn!" Cinder stopped in his tracks when he heard this, recognizing the angry tone of someone who was ticked off, his backflames momentarily sputtering out of surprise at the insult. Quickly redoubling his pace, he galloped over to the place that the argument that was going on, and then spoke up after skidding to a halt, trying to defuse the situation. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, let's all just calm down! We can't afford having any more heavily injured individuals, especially since the Shadows just took out the last two Enclaves other than this one!"

    Fine. I'll fix it. [EDIT]: I just remembered, but if you look at Code: PIRULUK's IC post involving the cables, you'll notice that she mentioned that LOLI_HUNTER got next to Ricochet. I thought that each pillar could only hold one full mech, as mentioned in the first Battle Post?

    Ricochet v. LOLI_HUNTER ((2-point reaction bonus - Avoid any non-signature attack once per fight, no matter how unlikely)) Ricochet's leg was grabbed by the cable, but the knife was parried by the spear when Ricochet brought it in from the side, stopping the blade of the knife with the shaft of the spear. That's about when Ricochet noticed an alarm for low armor integrity go off from the steady barrage of rounds being fired at him by the bits, and snarled at his opponent. "Lady, I haven't even begun to play!" Then, he pushed off towards the edge of the island with his free leg, intentionally going underwater and letting himself sink to the bottom. If LOLI_HUNTER didn't detach her cables, he'd end up pulling her in as well.

    Route 2 - Russet Ridge - "Onwards to Striaton City!" - Jack As Jack saw Jason press himself against the wall, he followed suit, making the Braviary miss him as well. However, it continued its attack, speeding towards the next person in the group with the Sky Drop. He'd certainly felt how strong the bird was as it swooped by, but he was still safe.

    Route 2 - Russet Ridge - "Onwards to Striaton City!" - Jack After having been stopped, Jack walked a short ways down the ridge before he turned back towards the gap in the path, and then sprinted towards it, building up forwards momentum before taking a leap of faith across the gap, starting to tumble a bit from having stepped on the very edge of the gap with the front half of his foot when he'd jumped. As he flew through the air, he let out a yell that demonstrated how adrenaline-fueled he was at the moment. "GYAAAAAAAHH!!!" He flew forwards through the air for what seemed like an eternity, his heart pounding in his ears. Then, he hit the other side, hips barely being on the other side, letting out a pained and muffled "Uhn!" when his chest and face hit the ground. At the time of his landing, the only parts of him that weren't on the path were his legs and feet, which was soon remedied when he clambered his way fully onto the path before turning around to assist Jason in helping the others across.

    Here's my interpretation of the Battle that just happened:

    Route 2 - Russet Ridge - "Onward to Striaton City!" - Jack Jack had carefully edged around the fallen Rufflet and gotten a bit uphill of it when he heard the screech, and froze on the spot, a chill running up and down his spine as he looked in all directions, immediately noticing the Braviary when he looked upwards. Upon seeing it, his eyes immediately widened to what could be considered to be metaphorically 'as wide as plates', and he let out a small noise of nervousness. "eep." He then sprinted up the path towards the top of the ridge as quickly as he could possibly manage, desperately wanting to put as much distance between himself and the (presumably) angry Mother Braviary as was possible.

    Ricochet vs. LOLI_HUNTER ((OOC: Hate to break it to ya, Piruluk, but LOLI_HUNTER made a BIG mistake with that move.)) Ricochet saw his opponent approaching, and spoke, already prepared to counter this bold move on LOLI_HUNTER's part. As he spoke, he retracted his chains so that they were not slack, and then let them gain some back as his opponent came towards him. "Aren't you forgetting something, missy?" He then cracked his mech's arm chains like a whip, hoping to knock his opponent into the ground from the maneuver. However, he was prepared to jump out of the way of his opponent, should his technique fail to work. As he did this, he continued to look at the bits, continuing to take them out of commission with his laser by moving it in broad, sweeping motions. He wasn't aiming with his eyes, but simply thinking about it making the motions, as he usually did. Him looking at his targets was only for making precise shots, but now that the targets he was trying to hit were moving erratically, he couldn't rely on accuracy to hit them, so he went for the 'spray and pray' method to hit them.

    I've been a bit busy for the past week and will be a bit busy for the next few weeks as my mom and I prepare to move to Cyprus, which will be why my posts are delayed if they are.
