  1. Nice to meet another artist who appreciates the beauty of Houndoom. ~ Don't let my vocation as the Blue Priestess fool you; I work best with Dark types. ... That aside, I like to digress too; You'll surely love the "A Wild Fanart Appeared" topic in Reborn City, and the general "Art!" topic in The Radio Tower. c: wololoooo \o/
  2. {Ryan vs. Raiza} "Baby, you got this and you know what to do, but I'll be coaching you a little bit from here, okay? Now, Calm Mind and dodge it!" Lucifer took a deep breath and steadied his thoughts as he dove behind some nearby foliage to dodge the Water Pulse arc. "Use the field to your advantage, sweetie. It's just like when we played Hide and Seek!" A distant memory began to replay in the Ghost-Fire Pokemon's mind, but he shut it down. Yes, he would graciously accept his Trainer's help in this battle, but he was bent on taking down that Spheal. He'd humiliated himself twice, far too many times. Hovering lower and weaving in between the fake trees, he made his way closer to his opponent and halfway through, he let loose colorful balls of light that flew off to his left, into the clearing and into the Spheal's field of vision.
  3. "That's one smart girl," Raiza said, after whistling when Gypsy came back with the Rotom in his Pokeball. The girl opened her mouth to ask, again, if she could tag along, when a familiar "Wick, wick" came from the other corridor. It was Lucifer with... her father in tow? "P-Papa! Why is Lucifer... Oh, Seraphine, it's been so long!" While the Litwick struggled to tug Gregorio Marson to his daughter, away, awaaaay from the PE teacher, his mother, the shiny Chandelure, circled around Raiza excitedly. For as long as Seraphine was a Lampent, she'd helped take care of the blue-haired unica hija of her Trainer and his wife. In a way, before Lucifer came along, Raiza was sort of her first baby, as a result. "My little girl, how have you been?" Gregorio managed to say, trying to find his balance while the little Ghost-Fire type dragged/tugged him closer and closer to Raiza. Still playing with the scarlet-flamed Chandelure, she answered, "I'm... I'm good, I've been good, I guess?" "Muy bien, muy bien," her father replied in his native language. Gregorio wasn't actually from Kanto, but instead from Hoenn. For some reason, her mother always mixed it up, saying that he was from Ecruteak, when actually he came from Lilycove, then moved to Ecruteak later on to learn more about Ghost-types. It wasn't the last place he stopped at, visiting Lavender Town later on, then Solaceon, then some place in Unova and then Kalos. Even in all his travels, her father still retained his native accent and vernacular to the point that it rubbed off on her mother. "Ah, I saw Lana and your teacher-- Mr. Tyron, I think?-- earlier on the way here," he added, finally close enough to his daughter. With a smile beneath his mustache and beard, he pulled Raiza into a hug. When that happened, she seemed to stiffen, before slowly hugging back. Then went completely stiff when her papa finally asked, "He said something about you being in the Trainer program, though? Surely he was mistaken?"
  4. ... oh my god Dobby those comebacks For once I actually enjoyed reading a whole OOC page lol I couldn't figure out what Pokemon has that's a close enough parallel to Spain, so I'm just going to say that Raiza's dad was actually born in Hoenn (guessing that it would be the closest thing cause... dude, just listen to the music. All the trumpets and, if you choose to hear GlitchxCity's remixes, accordions, remind me of matadors and well, anything European!)
  5. {Raiza vs. Ryan} Deep breaths. Okay. Okay. She'd deal with her parents later. It didn't help any that they were somewhere in the stands watching-- or not. Raiza didn't know. What mattered now was this battle; This guy-- Ryan, right? He'd chosen his starter immediately. Glacien. The cute Water-Ice ball seal of blubber was bulkier that any of her 'mons, and typewise, had an advantage over all three of her choices. The girl breathed in the artificial forest air as though it would clear her thoughts; the woods would help support her choice. It was kind of an obvious one, actually... She just hoped her baby boy was feeling up to it. His reunion with his mother seemed to have uplift him, anyway. Good for him; that made one of them in the light of feeling great. "Good luck, have fun; and no hard feelings, okay?" Raiza hollered across the field. Ryan was a nice person; she had lunch with him and his boyfriend Kage some time ago. Even then, that wasn't a reason to hold back. "Take the stage, dearest!" A flash of light and some bright embers scattered on the grass floor, licking away at the leaves slowly, and Lucifer popped out of the capsule, snickering ominously. He saw his prey today, and this time, he wasn't going to let it get away.
  6. With her paws still up in front of her, Pulse stared at the irritated Seviper. "Sorry, mister, but if we thought you would try to kill us like everything else has been in this dungeon, so far. We'd only just like to pass and finally--" she stressed the word heavily, tired-- "be done with this."
  7. Raiza And there and then, Raiza realized why orders for Rotom were so rare. Sure, she understood that they were one of the most mischievous of the Ghost types, given their ability to phase into and control electronic objects. The problem was that they were also one of the most difficult to control as a result-- which wasn't uncommon with Ghosts at all, but Rotom seemed to, as the Trainer observed with Henry and his new friend, take a while to tame. "No time to waste, then!" said the dark-blue-haired girl. "I could have Rogue slow Techie down with Icy Wind once we get close enough, if he tries to run away."
  8. Raiza Paradox? Baby girl Paradox threw Henry's telly out of the room? But before she could respond, what looked like an orange top outlined and shimmering with electric energy popped out of nowhere and peered at her... And right as she was about to do a thing-- again-- and wave hi, the Rotom disappeared. "Wait, mind if I help you out?" she called out, moving to follow the boy. As, y'know. Like a way of thanking him for the thought of Lucifer and for finding him. Lucifer and Gregorio "Oh, no, no hablo Espanol, huh? Sorry about that," Gregorio said, shaking his head as though to say he didn't sneeze. "It's just that I thought you said that my unica hija Raiza was in the Trainer program?" At this, Lucifer perked up. Oh, no.... This was precisely what Raiza was trying to prevent... He had to do something! Panicking, and dashing away from his astounded mother, he emitted a shrill scream and began tugging Raiza's father away by the sleeve. "Ah, what-- Lucifer-- sorry, Mister Silva, and Lana, but I guess Lucifer here needs to show me something--" he sputtered out, still not being able to recover from the surprise.

  15. Narcissa The good woman watched as her new Trainer friend hustled. Nodding, she said, "Interesting man. Gio would like to meet him later on, I suppose." Then she hobbled into the ward to receive first aid. Raiza Before she could reply to Henry's explanation, Citrine came along talking about something apparently interesting. The exchange between the two foster siblings happened so quickly that Raiza barely had time to shift her weight onto her other leg before the girl scuttled off. "... Uh, anyway, I guess I get you as to why you tripped mom... And I super understand what you mean with family driving you crazy," she said, rolling her eyes. "But, what happened to your TV?"
  16. Yeah, you guys already pointed out GameFreak logic, which took a while, so I won't point anymore contradictions out not that I can see any more And I'd actually like Shiny Umbreon... but... synergy is a thing.
  17. WIND BROCHACHOOOOOOOOO happy birthday c: hope you're having a swell time. ~
  18. Narcissa Following Joseph's gaze, Narcissa caught sight of what looked like sand whipping about in the air. "Oh dear," was all she could say. "We're here at the ward already anyway, I think; I can handle myself from here if you've got to go take care of things." The Breeder smiled gratefully, ready to steady herself if the Trainer decided to go. Lucifer and Gregorio Seraphine continued to play with Lucifer. That made sense. But what the teacher-- Tyron-- said. "Que?" was all Gregorio managed to say. Raiza She skittered to a stop when she heard Henry. "A crowd and a Chandelure? Then that might be... My dad, up in the stands!" Raiza looked puzzled for a while, mumbling something about thinking her mom mentioned her dad buying food, not being up spectating. "Well, okay, then. Lucifer's going to be in one place. But before I go, uhm. Why did you trip my mother?" The girl seemed genuinely confused about it-- not irritated or sad or anything at all, knowing Henry would have a good reason and that he wasn't just the type to trip people for his kicks, but just puzzled.
  19. *throws Umbreon out of the window for Faust* and why is America cheering for Mother Russia that's so out of character
  20. So I found this fanart for Sharpedo... ... and I can't post the picture. >> ... God I hate my internet.

  22. Narcissa "Yes, yes, Raiza likes to describe it as 'living in a haunted house'. Ghost types are mischievous by nature after all, and it doesn't quite help that they can choose to phase through whatever they please and disappear whenever they please. This is why we usually only keep a small number at home at a time, so that it doesn't get too chaotic. Once, I couldn't find the keys to the house, so I couldn't leave and get some groceries done. I was right about to give up after turning the house upside-down when I found them right in the bedroom on the dresser-- the very first thing I'd checked, over and over again!" Narcissa rolled her eyes, although she smiled. "Sentinel, my Golurk, and Gregorio's Chandelure, Seraphine, are definitely Arceus-sent, though, keeping the Pokemon in check when we can't." Raiza As a matter of coincidence, the blue-haired girl in question passed by the room Henry was in, though she didn't notice him at all.
  23. Oh, I see. ... Now I'm going to work out how to... make a Sharpedo... move normally out of water. Also, sorry for the delay, Commander. I'm kind of having a dilemma choosing Narcissa and Gregorio's Pokemon to shed some light on the family dynamics...
