      All I was really trying to say was that A) Claiming that RWBY isn't an anime, or at the very least an American attempt at one, simply because you dislike the most overexaggerated versions of the tropes present in anime isn't really fair to the genre or RWBY itself

      And B) RWBY actually has plenty of those overexaggerations, it just uses them alongside less exaggerated, more serious, tropes

      The weapons in RWBY are really creative

      I'm glad the FNDM emulates that with there OCs

      I mean many of the OCs are still overpowered but at least they have cool weapons
