Thinking of doing a Dark monotype challenge. Any tips that will make the journey less painful?

You can use Pokemon that evolve into Dark types or not, all depends on your personal preference (I personally used Frogadier and Larvitar as my main Pokemon in my Y Dark mono)
Though if you're doing that you probubbly shouldn't use anything that stops being a Dark-type upon evolution (nothing comes to mind though)
