Herself, lulz I left caps on and had to fix.

  2. Way late with this since I've been grounded, but: OMG MTC2?! Much yes

  3. ...I'd never considered that, Arkh. That's just kinda my standard pose for when I can't think of anything better XD I generally consider that to be my claws curled in. Like in that one leetle drawering on my art blog where I'm tossing the Pokeball (But now that I've seen the wine thing, I probs won't be able to unsee it, lol)
  4. I just found the most awesome hoodie whilst cleaning my room. It's too big, but meh
  5. I'm honestly surprised you actually did that Alice. What if Mikzal sees?
  6. Amelia blinked as Deric popped up behind them. That was a neat trick. She watched the others' short back and forth for a moment before being questioned. "He seems to have done quite well." She said stiffly. She still found herself slightly off-put by Deric. Something about him just bugged her. She assumed it was likely just incompatible personalities, she'd run across a few people before who were perfectly fine, but she couldn't seem to bring herself to feel comfortable in their presence. She dared for a moment to think Deric might be hiding something important, but quickly dashed such thoughts away. Aaron trusted Deric, and despite having just met him, Amelia trusted Aaron. Unless given reason to believe otherwise, she would trust Deric as well. No matter how uneasy he made her feel. . (OOC: It looks to me like it's both. Yes, it seems things are being hidden. And yes, Amelia will just never be comfortabubble with Deric no matter what he does)
  7. Amelia felt equally embarrassed. She could now clearly see how it was intended as a joke. "I am equally sorry." She said, "I don't have the greatest sense of humor. I can see now that you were just joking." She avoided mentioning her negative experiences of such things from the past. "So, um, is there anything important up there? Or do you guys want to come down so we can stop shouting?" She said, shifting her feet awkwardly. She would have offered to go up, but she was uncertain if Aaron was capable of that. And she didn't see any quick way up for herself either. (OOC: This is kinda crappy, sorry >_<)
  8. Amelia was a bit taken aback by Deric's question. The implication of there being something special about Aaron being around a women was awkward to her. It failed to occur to her that it was a mere jest. "Are you implying something?" She asked stiffly. Then she whispered to Aaron, "Is it unusual for you to have a woman nearby? Maybe some custom I wouldn't know of?" She unconsciously scooted away from Aaron a few inches. Deric's statement had her quite nervous. She had just met Aaron, and already someone had taken more from it than necessary. This always seemed to happen when she attempted to befriend a man. She didn't even consider herself that attractive. (OOC: Bam, now she doesn't like befriending males because of untoward implications. Petfect ammunition for freaking out in a company of them)

  10. OMG I made a thing, yay #equalrightsforelmosexuals
  11. I'm excited to experience how Cassidy thinks. She may share some of my thought processes, but she's still quite different. In a way, she's as far from me as possibubble, going full-circle around to make apparent similarities
  12. I've got a thing I do where I take on the character's personality and then just react. But it only works after I've finished fully shaping them... Cassidy is reach that point, it shall certainly be interesting to be her
  13. Doctor is an RP friend of mine from elsewhere. And it's a doctor Who joke I tried to post, I did. But the keyboard on this is horrid and I kept accidentally ending up outside the textbox whilst pressing backspace. And no Lazurus on this PC to bring it back. So, Ima post some other time...
  14. I generally spitball plots and abilities (it's more fun to balance something you kinda randomly shoved together out of nowhere) My characters, as I mentioned at some point previously, are generally from my dreams or based of an aspect or two of myself and developed from there I've made some really fun plots just from me and Doctor tossing random ideas back and forth [insert obligatory Doctor/Master joke here] (and then don't tell her, I said I'd stop making those owo)
  15. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Once it took root, could start having random attacks. It would mean that at nearly any point she could suddenly lose it. And she'd have the added fear of her own ability piled on her current fears. It would do so much for her character. I just need to flesh out the mechanic, debating an embodiment in her dreams with blackouts as she gets taken there, or a slower buildup where she starts experiencing the systems one by one. At first glance the latter choice seems obvious, but I do enjoy having my characters struggle with themselves (though the last character I did this variation of it with, kinda ended up broken >_>) It also opens up possibilities for her to lose control of her power or body outwardly, have random ticks and her power going off at people beyond her control. Which does present some problems, as part of what limits it so much is Cassidy herself... I'm leaning towards the slow approach, but I'm not fully decided yet (I expect most would advocate the slow one simply for the dangers of having her ability without her person to limit it?) The one thing that needs remembered though, is that she is just a girl. She may try to act beyond her age, but at heart she's still twelve. And she ran away from her family and depressing lack of friends. And thus her greatest fear, which I don't mind mentioning since I think it would be transparent, is realized: Loneliness. And if you think about it, it's kind of ironic. She wants everyone to disappear, but she's afraid of being alone EDIT: Oh, and spitballing is the best. As long as you don't get upset when someone rejects your concept (which kinda defeats the purpose of calling it spitballing, but I've had people do it) But it's quite fun tossing out ideas and seeing what you can mash together with them. I have a character or two sitting around (in dead RPs >_>) who were the constructed of randomly thrown together personality quirks
  16. I, had the freakiest dream last night. I can't explain much, but the word "Elmosexual" came up at one point... ono

I have no idea, I assumed it would mean a sexual attraction to Elmo :P

  17. ...Well, I kinda share that, Hakuna. If someone provides even a hint of Suism in a character, I have a tendency to drill into it unless they can provide significant evidence otherwise (I've struggled with making Sues myself, so I really bug at it with others) ... And I kinda agree Flux, and I had laid grounds for the supernatural before. Just figured I'd provide the option. ^^ I actually went through this myself not long after I made Cassidy ... Also, since it came up, I think extended use would cause Cassidy's own fears to manifest in her nightmare world. She's good at holding them back, but in the end, her ability is going to slowly eat away at her psyche. Haven't decided if she'll accept her fears (immunity), overpower them (no real change from now, and she'll likely have to face the same predicament over again), or just die. It shall be interesting to say the least
  18. Ah, okay XD And yeah, he could fight it, suddenness is good, though IDK if something simply painful would work, it would likely depend on how much. I can see her keeping on after getting stabbed or shot, but not after having an open flame on her arm. Basically: It's more the anount than the intensity. Though, he could cause a sort of headrush, right? That would probs wreck her ... And sorry if I came off rudely BTW, I may have been a bit miffed at implications of OPness (despite them probs being my fault for not explaining well) Thinking out and balancing innovating abilities is one of my fortes, and I may have taken it a bit personally. I was going to mention the pro:con ratio for Cassidy here, but I can't recall the exact number, somewhere between 2:5 and 2:8, the time required being the main outright negative, though the emotion thing is far more hindering overall
  19. *infinite, not infinitesimal >_> What I was going for was a general control of others' fears, based in her own. She has some really deep-seated problems, and I wanted her to be able to make others to feel the same. I suppose I worded it badly, I don't do all that well explaining things, it's far easier to demonstrate ... As for the whole probe thing, that would be entirely based in my knowledge of the character really, as with how I just analyzed Jude (though I suppose if I totally missed my mark it could be awkward. And there's also the fact that I'd sorta be adding my own ability to hers...) It could also be exactly like Zanna's spell and Cassidy wouldn't get to learn any of it, as it would be an entirely internal struggle for whomever she was effecting. Also, the way you describe him, Hakuna, Viktor still fears hurting those he cares about. He thinks he's a monster, so unless you're saying he's a psychopath and doesn't care that he's a monster, I think he would quite easily be susceptible ... Also, insta-kill, no, she can't really do that. I was speaking in direct terms of kill/no kill, whereas it's more whether her ability would affect them at all. Anyone she can affect she can technically kill, but unless she permanently drops all emotion, including her hatred (another reason why she can't do anything to Zwiess ATM, she faded past true calm and into focused hatred, she can't do shit in that state), she's limited to those with weak hearts who outright die to fear, possibubbly expanding if one was given sustained exposure. Say, four days would kill anyone? Though I think Cassidy would die of exhaustion/dehydration/her own exposure by that time... Though with the scientific approach, I suppose the killing mechanism would be purely chemical... Thus it would instead only be limited by Cassidy's training and possibubbly age. I wonder if I could toy with that... Since she's in her pubescent stages, her body might interfere with her ability... Hmm... But if you're worried about her being overpowered, I can most likely take the science one and, well, wait no, that wouldn't work... Um, hmm, I'm trying to think of realistic limits to the scientific variation... I suppose I could give her a cap? But then how to determine where, and if others were above it? The supernatural version is far more limited, but clearly has it's own problems ... Also, this is a time-consuming thing. Say she were to attack Zwiess right now, and assume somehow she could kill him, it would take time, Jude or Kiri could easily down her first. If Jude or Kiri were particularly weak (like whoever came out of the house) or similar in mind to Zwiess (like how most of the cops had similar minds, allowing Cassidy to get a concept of them and do more at once) she could include them to prevent that, or she could all-around weaken her assault to try to keep them at bay, though she might outright fail to affect the stronger members. That would also lengthen the process ... And I'm gonna shut up, way too many tangents, I probubbly can't even understand half of that now >_
  20. Well, there comes to the point where we have to choose whether Cassidy's ability is based in actual science, or is completely supernatural ... On the one hand, if it is purely supernatural, then I expect she could refine it to the point where she could search someone for whatever fears they might have. Rather than forcing innumerable amounts of freakish demons and blood and shit on them. In that case, it would essentially be exactly like the Sith witchcraft I based it on. Thus, it would have the same weakness Darth Bane exploited in his battle of succession with Darth Zanna, in that one who has conquered their fears- mind you, not someone who isn't technically afraid of anything, but someone who has overcome even their deepest self-doubts -would be capabubble of resisting ... On the other, more science-based hand, it's possibubble that she outright stimulates whatever hormone or whatever causes fear. Thus making "willpower" a question of how capabubble one's body and mind are of creating other hormones to counteract that and/or fending off whatever hormone she releases to cause it ... With the latter, she could essentially kill whomever she wished as she became stronger. However, I wrote it more as the former, and I think that also has much stronger reprecussions, at least for Jude. Even the most stalwart belief can be tapped. Cassidy could do far worse than kill him, she could face him with doubt, make his deepest fear, or at least I assume it would be since his entire character is built around his beliefs, come to light. And make him ask himself "What if I'm wrong?" Suddenly he has no god, no purpose in life. He could come back from it, or he could not. He'd likely fall onto pleasure, or simply onto his sword. No matter what, the power she would hold over him for the amount of time it took him to overcome such an attack would be infinitesimal. Though it's a one-time thing, if he overcame it, she wouldn't have another shot. It would make her dreams of killing millions at once kind of impossibubble, no one has a mind capabubble of sustaining that kind of a connection to that many people at once... Also, the more scientific way means she actually could kill Zwiess, assuming willpower shit, since once the process began, it wouldn't stop. IDK about Viktor in any circumstances, because I don't know his character too well ... #ramblingwhoops Just some thoughts and whatnot I guess
  21. Note to self: Never leave Cassidy alone with Jude ... Also, Cassidy really wants to just make Zwiess drop dead. Too bad for her, she can't do that. And not just because of story-based immunity, he could just slam her to the ground with his ability and break her concentration. Jude though...
  22. Cassidy resisted letting herself become angry. Zwiess didn't know her predicament, he couldn't understand her. "I killed them in an untraceable manner, something seen as a freak of nature. Jude here killed them in a way that made it obvious it was murder." She said, trying to stay calm and failing, "I'm caught now. As I would have been if I'd left them alive." It was true, if she'd done nothing, the officers would have known who she was, they could have easily recalled her face and come after her, maybe even connected her to her previous murders. Not like she needed an excuse to kill them. She found herself calming now, her raging fury turning cold and calculated. Her eyes focused inward, seeming deeper and duller than normal. The weight of what she had done? "I killed a few people, nothing special." She said flatly, "I do it all the time, as a defense mechanism and to grow my skills. And I have no idea what you have to do. Your weights are of no concern to me, it's not like you can carry them dead." It wasn't unusual for Cassidy to toss about thinly veiled threats, she'd been doing it since she was seven. And it was equally common for her to outright state her intents without a care for who heard her. "Unfortunately, I can't kill you, yet. Though I would not be shocked in the slightest if you were to do so to me." She said. Her words were becoming more monotone every moment, she felt her body feeling emptier and emptier. She felt so strong. And yet, she knew that Zweiss was still stronger. It sickened her to be this weak. All she want was to kill them all, her body filled up again, frozen with hatred. She found herself incapable of moving. Standing there, her eyes focused on Zwiess. All the depths of her hate were trained on him, but she held back from releasing them. Right now, she needed him. As much as she wanted him gone, she couldn't remove him. She let her hatred drain. (OOC: Not as detailed as I'd like, but I'm outta time)
  23. (OOC: Woot, I have post times) "I'd love to." Cassidy said dryly, "But suddenly I've slit some throats." She tossed an angry glare at Jude as she said this, allowing him a slight glimpse of her mind alongside it. Nothing Then she started walking after Zwiess. "Until now, I've been a strange but natural phenomenon. Now, thanks to your man here, I'm a serial killer. Every one of the people I effect has a chance of seeing me. Previously, my face was a common symptom commonly overlooked, I assume due to people not expecting a little girl to be in possession of hallucinogenics. Now the authorities will look back, searching for a source. They'll look for all the common factors, and my face will turn up. I'm in databases since I'm a runaway, they will find me. Seeing as it's your man who has me in this predicament, I'd like to hear your solution." For such a young girl, Cassidy certainly knew how to construct a trap. Not that she wasn't convinced this was Zwiess's plan all along. Clearly he had come looking for her this night, just as the police had. She had something he wanted, she was certain of it. What that was, she couldn't say. But for the moment, it seemed he had the upper hand. She needed him to survive, while he had resources to find whoever or whatever he wanted. She may have trapped him into letting her along, but it seemed he'd trapped her into wanting along in the first place. (OOC: I'm debating whether this is just Cassidy viewing the world as against her, or if Zwiess is actually up to something. Hmm... owo)
  24. Amelia giggled, she knew Lupai's name, she just felt like making fun of him. It seemed this was indeed the same Decate as before. She walked alongside Aaron. "I'd guess they failed, Loopy's pretty slippery." She said bitterly, "There's a reason I'm broke." She was a bit sore over letting someone like that best her. She mayn't have had any claims to being a master thief- Any reputation she had was based on the items she had returned, not those she had stolen. And it wasn't much of a reputation, she was only really known among certain circles onthe streets who admired her, and half of them thought she was male. She expected most would have Lupai's reaction to her. One of contempt and superiority. Not that she cared, not unless they insisted on lording themselves over her as Lupai had. -But she still hated the fact that he'd beaten her. #massivetangent
  25. (OOC: Yeah, whoops, I kinda auto-use the verb wheel for anything like that) ...... Decate. That was the guy Loopy had mind-controlled, wasn't it? Amelia wondered how Aaron knew him. "Wait, Decate. I met a guy with that name earlier." She paused, debating how much to say, "Some Loopy guy took something from his master, Samson or something, and then mind-controlled him. We... Didn't leave off on good terms. I kinda laughed in his face. Then some big atom guy took them away to look for Loopy." Milly squinted, now she could pick out a bit more, since she knew what to look for, but she couldn't recognize faces from quite this far. She found herself uncertain of what to do now.
