Has anyone ever wondered about the human medical tech in the Pokemon world? I mean, they can create autonomous AI's, teleporting stuff and can heal Pokemon from "had the crap beaten out of them" to top-shape in seconds to minutes.
It's called "it's a video game so no one thought people would be analyzing a feature that's there for your convience cause man having to wait real life amount of times for your Pokemon to recover would be super duper boring."
