It's mostly just team changes (maybe AI, but I doubt it is much in that regard) and the levels are higher. Everything else is the same outside of a few missing breeder trainers.

pretty much what commander said. The level jumps have kinda been hustled up a bit, but there are a few breeders with teams of nothing but Adinos scattered here and there to balance it out, which you can rebattle infinitely like the guys who spawn in the grand hall in reborn. I'd say it's about even.

Oh...but one or two of the fields are kinda broken in how powerful they make certain opponents, like the haunted house thing... about even aside from that though

Also, the higher the difficulty you play on, the less money you get from trainer battles.
