Oh definitely, Magnet Rise will help a lot, and I could use that Steel-type on my team as well.

Now that Rotom's learned Ominous Wind, Wake's Quagsire showed no trouble for my team. Water is weak to Electric, so this will probably be the easiest Gym overall. It was pretty damn easy. I was out earlier so I couldn't update my progress after the fourth badge, but I'm finally back so I can now. Maylene was even easier than Fantina was. Lucario barely put up any sort of fight. I don't get why I'm finding this so easy, I usually find Gen 4 hard when I can actually have a balanced team. I might try a Nuzlocke of this when I get better at them. I've only ever done one Nuzlocke and I lost that when I first fought Jupiter in Platinum, so that didn't go down too well. I was pretty strict with my rules (2 center visits a town, no evolving, etc etc.) so it's no wonder, but still. Hope things are working out with yours! Also, loving the Pidove name. Is that a shofu reference?

I just got the Coal Badge. It was pretty tedious, had to use Leer about 20 billion times since all I could do was Tackle Roark's Geodude and Onix, but they got swept after that. Here's my status:   Badges - 1   Pokémon: Luxio - Lv. 18

I got the sprites for my signature from PLDH.net. You just look up a Pokémon and every one has a sprites section, which has all it's sprites from Gen 1-5, shinies included. It has animated sprites for Gen 5 as well. I'd recommend looking there if you want sprites in your signature.

I wanna try a few of these. I think I'm gonna start with an Electric-type run on Platinum. I'll post how my team is coming along after every 2 badges or so. Not even sure if this thread is alive or not anymore, but oh well. Hopefully somebody will revive it.   EDIT: I called myself Sigmund since I'm using Electric-type Pokémon because

Grass/Ice. Guess I'm an Abomasnow. That is just dandy. *sigh* Kill me.

I've got 2 Ys and an X. I have 3 teams written down in my post.

Favourite legendary would have to be Suicune or Groudon. Suicune is just calm, collected, pure and just got an aura of beauty about it. It's majestic, but it's also really strong, and I like that. Groudon is the complete opposite - a powerhouse, not calm, collected or pure whatsoever, and the only aura about it is destruction (though we only see that because of Kyogre in fairness.) As for non-legendary, I can't really decide. Everything in my trainer card apart from Salamence pretty much ties for top spot. No real reason, I just think they're all cool in their own way.

Unless you are giving this thing a Choice Scarf, I think Me First should be changed to something else. I don't feel it will have much use as a whole, but it'll have even less if it gets outsped by another scarfer. Everything else seems pretty solid to me though. Not a bad set.

I just got my Toxicroak to hit it with Swagger and it kept hitting itself. Arceus is hard if you don't have the right moves for it, but you'll more than likely have at least one that can take care of it with no problem at all.
