  1. Hmm, never played Insurgence, what's it like? I remember trying to boot it up and it crashed on my for some reason so I just deleted it.
  2. I have been working on a fangame with a "rule of four" but that's kinda a personal project and unlikely to get shared with the world.
  3. ... You just reminded me of Emmeryn's death. ;_; I don't plan to make too many plot differences, but it'll probably be something like different dialogue or a slightly different plot path. Either way, it'll all converge to the same ultimate outcome.
  4. Soo, uhh, random question, would you rather have a silent protagonist, something where you can control the protagonist's actions (like in cutscenes), or a "defined" protagonist, like something where any choices you would make would be made for you in a cutscene. (basically like any protagonist that you generally can't name)
  5. For now, it's just the starters and the legendary, but I plan to put in ~20 more fakemon after I finish scripting new abilities, new items, new megas etc. So far I have ideas for five evolution lines, for a total of 11 pokemon. So yes, eventually if I don't have enough for a full gym leader team of the two new types, I'll ask for ideas.
  6. In comes school, out goes any hopes of me releasing beta before september. *cries* I actually don't have much left, its just setting the story events and waiting for Katz to finish the player sprites.
  7. Actually, the nature and iv's are set the first time you battle the trainer, so yeah. You have to reset in the first encounter if you want a different nature. And due to essentials limitations, the IV's all have to be the same if it's caught from a trainer.
  8. Minimal encounter rate is 1%, and have you tried the repel trick?
  9. Huh. Gardevoir/gallade has always been a MVP for me. Anyway I'm planning on removing ralts from the grass encounters for ep.2 but rest assured that it'll be back as an event encounter in ep.3 or 4. Been debating whether to make dawn stone available later in the game, or episode 5 though. Snorunt is available in episode 5 too. I don't deny that speed boost blaziken is on a whole different tier, but I just lump them all together with the generally good and wanted pokemon .
  10. I personally see ralts as one of those pokemon that can make a game really easy, along with gyarados, speed boost blaziken (though I don't plan to take away torchic) poison heal breloom, gale wings fletchling, beldum(the free shiny beldum made ORAS a cakewalk for me), and togepi.
  11. ...I'm only being generous since its the first episode. Ralts is getting axed in episode 2. EDIT: Welp, looks like most people want budew. *bounces over to add it now*
  12. More like which one you would actually use. There's plenty of alternatives for all three gyms, though some might not be as appealing. Plus, Jumpluff is like basically useless past the third gym. And I was actually considering giving you guys a bulbasaur until I saw what a monster it was against the first seven gyms. Liiike, Woobat, cherubi, goldeen, psyduck, lotad and
  13. TBH, Jumpluff with acrobatics can easily sweep the first three gyms. The first gym might be a little harder, since its part flying and the gym leader's ace is completely anti-grass and anti-water, Acrobatics can take care of half the second gym leader's team. Deerling can stop all three gyms as well. It doesnt have much for the second gym, but if you take the time into overleveling to 41, getting nature power, and then common candying it down to the level cap, it can get rid of half of the second gym's team. It's unlikely it'll survive a nature power from the opponent though. Oh, and sap sipper. You could probably bait a grass type move and counter with a jump kick. (though no grass type really cares for a jump kick) Roselia gets Toxic, toxic spikes, and stun spore by level up pretty early. I don't see many good damaging STAB moves though, but considering its monstrous sp.atk, a giga drain is nothing to laugh at. Even though its pretty squishy, it definitely has the ability to slowly drain the opponent down, and leech seed/giga drain can help keep it alive. I honestly don't see anyone using budew for the first gym since you don't have access to anything to raise friendship other than running around the city for hours, but after the first gym, you get access to salons. Anyway looking at this, I personally think Hoppip is OP(no rejuvenation bias there), Deerling needs work, and budew more of a long term investment. Which isnt exactly great since the next four gyms after that is anti-grass in general.
  14. Leaflet is not exactly supposed to be a fire emblem reference, but hey, acciedental reference right? My friend actually pointed that out to me. Mizusu is actually a pretty subtle rosarioxvampire reference. I wanted to make someting that looked childish and innocent like San, but also powerful at the same time. "Time to tip the scales!" I actually already have mizusu and the rest of the first evo. done, I'm struggling on the second evo. now. Doing scales once isnt so bad, twice is kinda annoying, but for 6 sprites, double for shiny, and then the menu sprites is kinda overwhelming.
  15. Ugh. Mizusu looks totally adorable on paper. Wish I could say the same for the pixel art tho. If anyone's good at pixelling scales, be my guest.
  16. That moment when you realize you've been doing your spriting on the wrong layer for over half an hour... ugh

    1. Sunbean

      Sunbean

      Me all the time. -_-

  17. I actually kinda like Fern. Other than that nuzleaf trap moment.
  18. Some teaser art~ Once I get overworlds done, beta will be out! Wanna play a game of find all the references and easter eggs?
  19. Currently it's at 45, but I may or may not shuffle the gym order around a little bit. Oh, and for character reasons, Silver has to have a bronzong with heavy metal, heavy slam, psychic, and hypnosis.
  20. @Alozan, @Katz, please pm me about help. Oh, and katz, that makes two of us. I wanted to major in game art and design too! @Krim, Updated the beta tester list
  21. Because.... Mrowwww~ The fire kitty wasn't actually my idea, my friend pestered me into making it.
  22. Updated the beta testers list Have some starter art! Embermeow, the fire cat pokemon Leaflet, the robin pokemon Mizusu, the siren pokemon no fire emblem reference intended. seriously. did not notice the reference until someone pointed it out earlier today
  23. Pokemon Titanium i need a banner >.< Heyo guys, the name's Grass if you don't already know me. Species: Poke-person. Habitat: Reborn's Roleplaying Forum. Usually. Well, since Pokemon Reborn, Pokemon Rejuvenation, and a couple other fangames are sprouting up lately, I thought I'd try my hand at making my own :3 So here we are, Pokemon Titanium. It's kinda a "sequel" to my "The Shrouded Islands" roleplay, but you don't really need to know the plot of The Shrouded Islands to play it or even understand it. Actually, think of the roleplay as the prequel. This will be an episodic release game, with 25 planned story chapters, and possibly more for the endgame. There will be 15 new pokemon, possibly more, two (actually three if you consider the ??? type) new types, Shadow pokemon, and a new feature, Delta pokemon. Delta pokemon work like the TCG variant, they have different types, but mostly the same learnsets and stats. It'll also have several new mega evolutions, uhhhh ..... I don't really remember how many. XD Three new eevelutions as well, too many new items to count, and one shiny new amazing legendary that you probably already know if you poke through "The Shrouded Islands". (Hint, it's one of Emerald's pokemon) So yeah. I'll post story details in a spoiler down below. But first, HELP. I've actually mapped a good chunk of the first and second episodes, all's left to do add events to the maps, and script all the new features. I can do the eventing myself, but I'll need someone to do the scripting for me. Actually, take that back. I can script, but I can't access the script editor. I'm working on my game on a macbook pro with wine, and RPGmaker XP isn't the most friendly with Wine. That thing crashes my computer whenever I make any edits to the scripts. Which means, I'll need someone to input the scripts for me. If you have scripting experience, that would be even better since I make TONS of mistakes/typos/capitalization errors in my coding. All the time. I would also like someone to help me sprite, since that's the stuff that's taking up the majority of the time. Especially the gen 6 pokemon, megas, and the new pokemon, megas, deltas, and shadows. I would love to have my own music composed for the game as well, but that's not too much of a priority. Until then, creds to Glitch City, and some other remixers, for the music. Something else I would love to get help on is new pokemon designs. Okay, I admit it, not all 15 out of 15 new pokemon are designed/named. I'll post the stuff Ive done in a spoiler below. So. Onwards. ~Story~ ~Help~ ~How you can Contribute~ ~Screenshots/Art/Teasers~ ~Characters~

...See this would be a time to make a satirical comment on McDonalds and hot coffee... Except you seem to be in pain and that would be mean

So instead I'll state what I would do were you not in pain and then go on with my life
