    Random Cold Steel thought #17: you know, I am absolutely shocked by the impact Pokemon have had on everyday life. Having to say "I feel the same" during a conversation with a NPC, Rean says "ditto". This is an official dub made by a company, NISA, that has nothing to do with Nintendo, and keep in mind that, in this setting, the Pokemon franchise does not exist.

      Yep, that's the origin of the name in english. It's a word that ((more like phrase)) that means "same" basically lol.

      it's a phrase derived because of those marks since they basically mean "the same word is used here" so it's a term for same when used by itself like that.
