Got it~ I was thinking that Henry had talked to Danielle and Kristen during these past few days on the trip, so it got me a little confused.

@Commander: Is Zuko is growling at Danielle? I just wanted to make sure I get it right before I make a post after Chimchain's.

"Ah! No no no no no!" Danielle cried as the thread snapped. As a result of the force of her pull, the recoil sent her tumbling backwards and landed right on top of Zared, who cried out in surprise. Corona shrieked as Evan disappeared from view; she quickly flew over to the rail and peered down into the forest below. "This is no good... This is no good..." Danielle freaked out as she got up. "What's wrong? Are you injured?" Danielle looked up to find herself standing right besides Professor Cadmus with Avis in tow. "No, no. I'm fine! It's Evan! He was pushed over the railing there by several Donphan! I tried to pull him back up but... It didn't work out..." She almost whispered the last part as she held up the remaining strands of silk in her hands. Feelings of guilt and regret was etched on her face. 'If only I could pull faster, then maybe this wouldn't have happened...' After recovering his bearings, Zared walked over to the rail and told Corona to come back with him. The Larvesta, however, chirped sadly at her failure and refused to leave. Avis, noticing Corona's reluctance, flew to Corona's side and uttered a few "krows" to comfort the Larvesta. With a heavy sigh, Corona nodded and the three of them rejoined Danielle together.

Danielle had cursed under breath as the Donphan and Phanpy horde came straight towards them. Instinctively, she dived for the left side to avoid getting rammed over by a Donphan on her right. "Avis, are you alright?" she yelled at the top of her lungs, having lost her sleeping bird. A second later, Danielle saw her bird from above blowing the dust from her line of sight; Avis appeared a bit miffed for being woken up so rudely, but was otherwise safe and ready for a fight. 'What the hell is going on? Judging by Professor Cadmus' reaction, this isn't normal.' She quickly cut off that thought when she saw Evan being knocked closer and closer to the railing by several rampaging Donphan. 'Screw thinking, I need to act.' Danielle looked up at Avis and commanded, "Avis, get Professor Cadmus' attention while I get Evan!" Without waiting for a response, she unhooked her two remaining capsules and released Corona and Zared. "Zared, knock out anything that is in our way! Corona," she placed her small body onto her shoulder and pointed to Evan, "You need to help me pull him out." All at once, Danielle's three Pokemon reacted to her commands. Avis rolled her eyes at the mention of Evan's name, but complied and immediately flew over to the Elite Four member to direct him towards her master. Zared managed to crush several tumbling rocks with a couple of Iron Heads as his master made her way over to Evan. Finally, Corona spat out a thick, rope-like thread that wrapped around Evan's waist as soon as Danielle managed to get close to the rail. "I-I got you, just hang on tight. Literally," she grunted to the confused boy as she pulled the thread rope towards her. She dug into her heels to gain some traction, which resulted in some deep footprints. Zared also tried to help by holding onto Danielle's leg to prevent her from being pulled over the edge.

What do you think of Chapter 2? Did you enjoy it? Yes I do. I'm not used to having this much control over my PC's situation (like with catching Pokemon and letting her do what she wants before an event starts) so it's a nice change of pace. What about my writing? Where can I improve? It looks good to me. I'm learning from everyone's writing (and pointers too) so... Which characters under my control feel real / which characters need improvement? Feel real - Lana because I'm really quiet in real life too. I do want to see more of Brendan and Rebecca's personalities a bit more. I know they are just assistants, but I'm just curious about them. (Chimchain ninja'd me about them, but I'm not changing my opinion xP) Who is your favorite NPC and why? Jeremy Brand made me laugh when he showed up. I have a feeling Danielle would get along with him just fine. Who is your least favorite NPC and why? Why must you make me choose? ;_; Probably... Carolina Welsh. She reminds me of those corrupt politicians that only care about money. What do you think about the darker parts I included in this chapter? (Hydreigon and Celebi) I enjoyed them. They serve as a reminder that not everything is perfect in this world. Just don't bombard us with them rapidly because then they won't be taken as seriously as they should be. Which Legendary do you think will befriend your character? And why? I want to say either Cresselia or Latias. Danielle isn't about battling to the extreme. She's more concerned about her Pokemon being happy and keeping them safe. I always found those two to be some of the most gentlest legendaries; Cresselia would be more about support and, thus more fitting with Danielle's team but Latias is more playful and can go on the offensive if it's absolutely necessary, like Danielle herself (although we didn't see that side of her yet). What do you expect to happen in Chapter 3: Winter Cup? Besides the obvious battles, I think there will be some gentle persuasion/behind the scenes troubles from the spies of the RoG. And maybe even a Christmas party after the Winter Cup is done? If your character was approached instead of Slade; how would he / she react? Danielle would feign being surprised outwardly and then play along to try to wheedle out more information from them before she goes "Eh... No." and walk away. She will be troubled when she realizes that they know a lot about her past though. Is there anything else I can improve upon? Yes: Put the map on the first page xD

Miki giggled at Lupus sarcastic question before nodding enthusiastically. There was something about the man before her that made her feel safe and sound once again. It's a really nice change of pace compared to what she has been through just 3 days ago. "You're right, we should go and get some better clothes. I need something better than sneakers." When Flux and Alina arrived (not realizing that Flux was beside them all of this time), Miki waved cheerfully to her fellow Covert Ops teammates. "Hi Flux and Alina! Yes, I'm glad all of us got out alive, but... The main team, unfortunately, weren't as lucky as us, as my new friend has informed Sarcus and me." Miki's expression grew more somber as she gestured to the man with the sunglasses and his Houndoom. "This is is Lupus and his partner, Lobo. He and Jory are the only ones left from Gardenia's battle. Lupus, this is Flux and Alina. They are my teammates from the Covert Ops." Raito was disappointed that Jon had left the gym. He was hoping for a Covert Ops reunion of some sorts before they start their next mission. His ears went down to indicate this emotion, but they immediately returned to their normal position when Flux and Alina arrived to join them. The Jolteon decided to jump onto them now to indicate his pleasure at their arrival.
