  1. {Slade} Avis crowed at the Rotom warily, but otherwise remained in Danielle's clutches. She did, however, notice Slade walking past their group. Deciding this to be the best time to excuse herself from the Electric type, Avis wriggled out and proceeded to badger Slade instead. Maybe she could finally check out those headphones of his... She stopped just short of plucking his belongings, though. Something was off with the Murkrow wannabe, and that means that it's not a good time to pester him. So, she plopped down on the desk and peered into his face. "Muur krow?" {Henry and Lana} "Why, hello there, Techie~" Danielle giggled. She had seen a few Rotom by her hometown here and there. Most of them were just like Avis; pranksters. Once Avis flew out of her grasp, Danielle put on a solemn expression and answered Henry's revelation. "Look, I understand why I should keep this a secret from certain others, but isn't a friendly voice --not mine, obviously-- going to be more helpful to Evan than for us to sit back and let him be persuaded by his "friends"? If we stay silent, there would be a bigger chance that Evan will go over to that side. If you have told me this sooner, I would have forfeited the match so that Evan wouldn't be pushed further and further away from us." She crossed her arms at this point, annoyed at how the situation has unfolded with this revelation. "I'm sorry, Henry, but I have to agree with Mareek on this; if we choose to withhold information from each other, Evan's situation is only going to get worse. If that puppet master is as dangerous as you think he is, we need all the help we could get. I can't afford to keep it to me, myself and I only. But I will concede that I won't be telling everyone... Especially those new transfers. Now, I have to go and see if my Pokemon are healed yet, so excuse me." If Henry is as streetsmart as he is, he would pick up the hint as to who to look out for now. ((Oh, thank goodness this was saved yesterday. I couldn't finish it due to class))
  2. {Ken, Roy, Xander, & Arthur} - To da Beach "All righty then! Let's get this show on the road!" Arial shouted enthusiastically as she heard her scooter's engine hum its greeting. "Meet you at the beach you guys!" With that, she zoomed out of the school's parking lot, not even bothering to put her helmet on. {Rene} Arial soon spotted Rene at the nearby bus stop. "Yo Rene, ya need a lift?" she called to the straggler as she parked in front of him. "The rest of us are got a ride already and are heading there now. It won't do us any good if we left you behind." she grinned.
  3. 26 Ashes has a point. Just control yourself; it doesn't help clear your case if you start the fight tomorrow.
  4. 9 Thanks ExLink! Had to make it up for my previous mishap ^^
  5. {Danielle vs Jacob} "Avis, use--" Danielle started before she saw a stream of fire head towards the glowing Trapinch. "Dark Pulse on Chalchi then. And Corona, Signal Beam on Teo!" she finished, chuckling a little at the display. It was good to see that Corona is becoming more independent but, at the same time, the firebug still hasn't thought about the consequences yet. Due to the previous Flame Charge, Corona was able to react more quickly to the incoming Superpower than Avis (surprisingly). Without a command, she enveloped herself in the warm flames once again and rammed herself into Teo's side in an attempt to knock him away from her mentor and friend. The recoil, however, made the Larvesta take her eyes off of Teo for a moment before she fired off a Signal Beam in the direction that she thought Teo was knocked off to. Avis would have been more grateful for the little bug's interference had the flames not scorched some of her breast feathers. She was lucky that her flight feathers are still intact. Oh boy, another thing she will have to teach Corona. Who knew being a mentor would be this difficult? Avis elevated herself upwards to avoid another possible sneak attack and fired off another stream of black and purple rings once more at Chalchi.
  6. {Danielle vs. Jacob} "Corona, hide yourself and counterattack! Avis, go in for Chalchi!" Danielle ordered. The only thing she could see from the field were the faint outline of Jacob's Lapras and the flames that were extinguished by the turbine. She would have to count on their natural night vision to execute their moves. A chirp could be heard as the little bug tried jumping to the back of the turbine to avoid the Water Pulses. She squealed as some of the water hit her, but she shook it off quickly before she got back up and fired off another stream of fire (Incinerate) with the winds once again. Avis had flown back towards Danielle's side of the field and fired off a Dark Pulse in tandem with the flames. The dark rings soon surround the small flames, creating what seemed like an appearing and disappearing act with the lights.
  7. {Rene, Ken, Xander, Roy, & Arthur} "You guys know I'm up for it!" Arial chimed in. While her friends were gathering up and confirming their decisions to head to the beach, Arial was busy digging through her bag for her keys. 'Must have dumped them inside this morning, damn it...' Finally, a resounding ring from her sets of keys could be heard as she pulled them out. "FINALLY!" she exclaimed happily, holding up her keys in victory. "I have an extra seat as well anyone is up for it!" she said, looking around for anyone to take it up.
  8. {Danielle vs Jacob} While Danielle couldn't see the field as well as she should, she knew her Pokemon's vision are a different story. Plus, she now has a chance to make the field more spectacular by making it darker. "If you want night time, you got it! Avis, Night Shade towards the ceiling. Corona, use Incinerate on the turbines afterwards!" Danielle is going to ignore Teo for now, hoping that Corona's movements will attract his attention. Avis gave a glance at the bug as if to tell her to watch her movement. She blinked a few times to get the sand out of her eyes before she took off and focused her attention on the storm cloud (and ceiling) above their heads. Her normally red eyes glowed a faint pink before a blob of dark aura formed and shot up towards the sky; the Night Shade expanded upon contact with the dark gray clouds, covering the field in almost pitch-black darkness. Corona watched as her mentor performed the mental attack before she Flame Charged her way to the turbine, warming herself up from the shivering winds. Once she crawled up on top of the wind turbine, the Larvesta shook herself loose from the sand before she released a barrage of Incinerates towards the middle of the wind generator. With the darkened atmosphere, the bright red flames looked like miniature glowing bombs making their way to Jacob's field and, hence, Chalchi. While Corona stayed put, Avis then began making her way towards Chalchi as well. The flaps of her wings could be heard if one listened hard enough.
  9. {Lana and Henry} Danielle raised an eyebrow at Henry's request. She then turned back to the screen to see a part of the match, contemplating on the offer. If Henry found something to be dangerous, it must mean something, especially since the Orre native is never one to hand out information just to strike a conversation. Still, the thought of withholding potential key clues from her best friends doesn't sit well with her. Avis gave her master a light peck on the finger and gestured over to her companions. To her, it's worth hearing Henry out whether Danielle could tell the boys or not.The more information on the pest, the better. And who is to say that she couldn't tell the boys' Pokemon about this? The Murkrow's trainer gave the bird a pat and nodded to Henry's suggestion. "Alright, I'll bite. If it is as bad you say it is, I'll listen to what you have to say."
  10. {Lana} Avis was the first to respond to Lana's voice, flying over to her human roommate and crowing proudly as if she was the one that participated in the last match. It wasn't until Danielle got a hold of her small frame that the Murkrow finally went silent. Maybe that Dusk Stone wasn't a bad idea after all... Then Danielle couldn't grab her so easily... All of the evolutions that had taken place so far looked pretty cool and badass... Except maybe Java's; Avis wouldn't want to go through another puberty stage. Avis' obnoxious voice had broken Danielle out of her thoughts and allowed her to witness her flying type showing off in front of Lana. She got up and pulled her Murkrow back down to give her roommate some space to breathe. "Lana knows that you weren't in the match, so don't even try to trick her." she chided her bird. After Avis finally calmed down, Danielle beamed at Lana. "And thank you, Lana! The credit goes to Zared and Corona though... With a little luck." she frowned a little at the thought. "To be honest, Evan should have had that match since my team has a disadvantage against his but... he seemed to be out of it as the battle dragged on..."
  11. {Jacob vs. Danielle} Danielle whistled approvingly at the battlefield. She was hoping to get a shot at this field after hearing about Mareek's battle. There are two Pokemon that could take advantage of this fully so far, so why_not have them showcase their talent first? Danielle enlarged her first two capsules and allowed Avis, the natural flyer, and Corona, the baby floater, to take the stage. "Have fun, you two~" Danielle encouraged her duo before turning to Jacob. "Will do Jacob! I'll fly over instead! I heard that was more fun than running!" she chuckled. "Ready when you are!"
  12. Danielle had rushed off to the medical ward after her battle with Evan was finished. After dropping off her Mawile and Larvesta's Pokeballs off with the nurse, she took a seat right in front of the screen and let out a jubilant Murkrow from her Dusk Ball. "Yes yes Avis, they won. But it was tough due to our water weakness in our team so far." Danielle looked up at the screen, watching as Jacob and Slade took their places on their battlefield. " We really need to find a grass type after this tournament is over."
