  1. No offense, but I thought Chimchain rejected your application before?
  2. "Very well. We will practice it once we find an adequate place with shade and some soft landing, be it grass or water." Nivia responded, still keeping her focus on creating the ice path set ahead of her. "Despite us being Water types, this heat will still weaken us considerably if we even attempt to practice. That, if Mewtwo is correct, can put us in a bad spot if something hostile decides to show up." With that, she continued sliding side by side with Kenny.
  3. Nivia gave a quick glance at Kenny in the Aqua Jet before focusing back on creating the ice path. It reminded her of a contest combo that she used with a partner Pokemon so long ago. It was effective as a defensive as well as an offensive mechanic. Considering the circumstances they are in, Nivia might as well discuss that strategy with the Dewott. "You know, there is a contest combination that combines Aqua Jet and an Ice type move together. I can make the Pokemon in the Aqua Jet be surrounded by solid ice while you keep going towards the opponent. Not only can it do massive damage if timed correctly, but it can also protect you should the need arise. Perhaps, if you would like, we could practice it in case we encounter another threat."
  4. Land. Dust. And sun. Lots and lots of them, to boot. Those were the first thoughts that came into Nivia, the Dewgong's, mind as Mewtwo's parting words faded into her memory. Needless to say, she hated this. The shade provided little comfort to her (as well as the others, she assumed) but, Nivia thought, at least she had a white pelt that absorbs less heat than her Dark-type brethren. As several of the group began to walk off, Nivia could only sigh. Although she wouldn't heat up as quickly as the others, her legless body isn't going to make this trip easy. She can't walk, after all... But, whoever said she has to? Nobody! Nivia turned to the others still beside her and held out her flipper, preventing them from moving ahead. "Stay behind me, I have a plan to get us out of this heat faster." Then she turned to the ones in front and called, "Hey! Get out of the way unless you want to be turned into a popsicle!" As soon as they heard her, Nivia's small horn emitted a bluish-white beam that ran straight into the ground, freezing up the terrain for a short amount of time. As soon as a small path was created, Nivia began sliding on the said sparkling path, extending it farther and farther into the distance as she slid further away from where Mewtwo had dropped them off. "Come on, slowpokes, before the sun melts it!" she called as she slid by the group.
  5. Avis crowed happily as she was being petted by Professor Redwood, dropping her Eviolite back into the pile as a result. She sat down by the edge of the table to allow Professor Redwood to pet her more; she then closed her eyes, completely at bliss. After Professor Redwood explained the beneficial effects of the Eviolite, Danielle gazed at the small stones in astonishment. 'Wow, no wonder I have seen trainers with Eviolites on their Pokemon. It's so useful for frail Pokemon... Like Avis here!' Danielle thought as she glanced at her spoiled Murkrow. 'She would be able to take more attacks and, combined with Roost, she could be pretty annoying to defeat! And talking about annoying...' Danielle crossed her arms in thought, thinking about what can make Murkrows so disliked in communities (especially Laverre City). "As far as I know... A murder of Murkrows follows the orders of a Honchkrow no matter what, no?" she started slowly, drawing out what she could remember from prior knowledge and school. "So, I guess they usually do things in groups in order to succeed in their tasks. Because of that, they can come up with sophisticated plans to trick people, or other Pokemon, to give them what they want, which can be annoying? ...Wait, Professor, did its bad reputation come from its curiosity? Avis, here, loves looking at things that she has never seen before and she won't stop examining them until she understands what they do, even if it risks her life..." She walked over to the table and scratched the underside of Avis' beak. "Professor, I came from Laverre City in the Kalos region. The elders that lived there hated Murkrows... They tried to kill her once, when I was 10. They keep claiming that she is an "omen of death" and that "she spies on everyone and everything."" Her stomach growled as soon as Danielle finished that line. It was almost as if her stomach is telling her to stop. She blushed with embarrassment before continuing. "Excuse my stomach, Professor. I believe it had enough of my rambling. Haha... But, I would really like to listen to your explanation if it would help me understand more about my Murkrow, however, hungry I am." ((Please, Eviolite over Everstone any day~))
  6. Notus, why must you break my heart? Okay, jokes aside, I understand your decision. I'm going to miss you and Colin calling my PC Dani xD @Chim: I'm going to give a post later this afternoon. Anyone present with Danielle can step in and get a chance to interact with Professor Redwood (knowing Danielle, she would prefer listening to him than going to class anyway xP)
  7. "Well, actually, I just came around to take a tour of the labs, since it's one of the only places I haven't been to yet in school," Danielle replied, scratching the back of her head. It was a bit embarrassing that she really didn't have a better reason other than taking a tour. Avis, however, in her curiosity, flew over to a stash of purplish-stones and began pecking at them. "Avis! What are you doing? Don't peck them!" Her Murkrow picked one of the tiny stones up with her beak and showed it to her. Danielle raised an eyebrow at the accessory and turned back to Professor Redwood. "Sorry, my Murkrow likes new things. Is that stone she is holding an Eviolite?"
