Okay, it can't get Ice Shard, but hope this helps: Avalugg (M/F) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 HP Nature - Avalanche - Curse - Earthquake/Stone Edge - Recover/Rapid Spin Upon farther investigation, I've found Avalugg to be a bit more Viable in competitive play. Its limited STAB movepool prevents it from getting Ice Shard and other great physical Ice moves, but Avalanche still packs a punch as long as he tanks physical hits. With curse it'll just boost his already great Atk and Def stats while getting rid of speed that it already doesn't have, while Earthquake gives it steel, rock and fire type coverage. Though Stone Edge would help against Talonflame, EQ is a better for overall coverage. If you plan to get a wall going then recover is a good asset, but if you need a spinner go with RS.

Okay, well I apologize. But now that I think about it, I might have a real set for it, though idk if its 100% possible because Ice Shard is necessary.

The game was easy, but it was the fun kind of easy like B/W 2. It took me five days to finish the game, but that's only because we had an exp. all instead of the usual sharing, so I didn't have to stop and train the team. Even with changes to my team, the new member would always catch up by the time I needed them. Overall though X/Y was and still is very fun and exciting to play. I love being able to make teams for Wi-Fi battles and breeding trade fodder lol. This is the first time that I've been able to battle competitively outside of PO or showdown so its nice to see all that simulator grooming translate into actual wins. And trading has never been so fun! As far as post-game goes, I already know we're getting some DLC. You don't put 2GB of memory in a game, just to let it sit there, so I'm not really worried about it right now.

I just got one from GTS lol (thank god for the Japanese). But I know that you can't find Carbink in Friend Safari, only in reflection cave. And you can only get it the study ability in a horde of Roggenrola...

Does anyone here have a Study Carbink? I've searching for one all holloween weekend, to no avail... IDK about the nature or IVs, I just need one with the Sturdy ability.

I think that I've come up with a solution to my situation (though a lot of you won't agree with it). What I'll probably end up doing is getting a 2DS along with Pokémon Y and then buy X like next week or the week after. Its the cheapest and easiest choice because to be honest... I really don't care what I play X and Y on, I just want the full 6th Gen experience. So if I gotta play a 2DS for a few months, then so be it. Who knows, I might love the 2DS and keep it

I could get a new one, but I wouldn't be able to buy any games for it for atleast a week after I got it. I'm trying to get my system and be able to play with it as well lol. I'm actually considering a 2 DS as well, that way I can get everything I want and still walk away with a little cash in my pocket.

So I decided a few months ago that nothing would stop me from getting Pokémon X and Y, except one problem: I have no console to play them on. So for the past couple of days I've been looking at 3DS XLs and almost all the used ones I've come across have have not been to my liking. So my question is should I keep hunting for a good, used 3DS XL or get a new 3DS?
