Did I tell you she's going to get a Camerupt? Or maybe I should put Fire Blast on that Garchomp... But Lana is the reason I prefer Evan staying in the Academy. That way I don't end up with 3 sandteams. But it does look more appealing at the same time. -
I found out yesterday by playing Reborn again that Cain's mother is also named Lana... And I figured the sandstorm team out in case Evan joins RoG. Ninetales is going to be replaced and Clefable is going to play his only link to his friendly side. - Vaporeon - Clefable - Skarmory - Tyranitar - Galvantula - Sigilyph (the things I can do with this) - Bronzong (a bit of a sadistic one) - Cradily - Diggersby - Seismitoad (poison touch probably)

If I remember correctly I think Doux also runs +2 support moves without abusing it. And I like the idea about drastically changing Evan's team based on how far everyone is going to push him. Student Evan: Rain team (friendlier Pokémon) - Vaporeon / Clefable / Goodra / Yanmega / Ampharos / Galvantula / Seismitoad / Gengar / Medicham / Skarmory (or another steel type). I just realized this one is mainly Special atk based. (I could also go Poliwrath and Kanga, but I'm not a big Poliwrath fan...) RoG Evan: Sandstorm team - Vaporeon / Ninetales / Skarmory / Galvantula / Tyranitar / Cradily / Gengar / 3 others. (Scrafty / Weezing / Toxicroak / Bronzong / Gliscor / ...) All potential team members. I would prefer one or two ground types and a fighting type. Fighting types in general screw this team over but ok. And an Infernape would be really good... Edit: Infernape / Sigilyph and Gliscor could work. There should be a ground/fighting type though.

I allow 3 status moves if people don't abuse it. And Wish is tricky. If that's the description I might go along with it and let you target other Pokémon.

@Azery: That gif you posted earlier gave me an 'evil' Bronzong feel. Like it was controlling things with Psychic powers. I still could do a darker team if Evan joins RoG. Some pokes, like Galvantula, could still work with another personality. Ninetales could still try and burn everything that's a potential threat, but the Goodra won't work. I could change it to sandstorm with T-tar instead of Goodra. In general I would go for more aggressive Pokémon aside from the 4 that he has now. That also means he's probably going to give Cleffa away instead of Ninetales.

I meant using in the RP. I would go Special attack with it since it's too slow to Iron Head something. Only downside is that it has no recovery moves and very low HP.

Ninetales was my third option as a fire type. I originally (when I just threw in random pokes) thought about using Houndoom or Magmortar.

I see I'm not the only one who's indecisive when it comes to teams. Recently I've been thinking that Kanga could fit Evan's personality. I originally chose Medicham because it's the meditation Pokémon... And since Robert previously dodged every possible outcome to get involved in the plot, I can outstall the Ninetales switch. Or I could make him go Darth Vader completely nuts and change his only friendly Pokémon... Anyway I have time again to update. I should be able to get something up today.

Lana is going to obtain a Hippowdon in year 2. I had to move it back when I reworked the story. I also think I'm going to add Garchomp. And maybe Stunfisk. Edit: Zephyr: Lana isn't going to appear. I'm going to let the awkward silence continue until Raiza starts bugging Mareek a bit more.

Different types. I haven't really given him a team yet. I probably won't give him any Pokémon that can mega evolve though.

I have nothing planned for Giovanni. I might mention him in the future but that's all about I'm going to say. If you want to go ahead with the Giovanni thing PM me about it. I remember someone (I think Tacos?) doing the same thing when we started with Wally. As long as it isn't the Wally from the games I have no problem with it. But I think I shot it down because I remember something about a Mega Gallade. Speaking about Mega evolving: In Ymora there are 6 and 3-4 others have the potential but don't have the stones (yet). The E4 (Sceptile, Kanga, Fabio and Salamence), the champion (T-tar) and Phoebe (not known by many people). I'm even considering to not give the Sceptile, Kangaskhan and Ampharos their stones and cut down the number of Mega Pokémon by half. So that means none of he backstories should have something with a mega stone in it.

It's open. And for now I'm going to try and force some more interaction. I made Lana and Kristen unavailable (unless you want to deal with Tyron) and Phoebe isn't around anymore either. The only exception is Robert but he seems to dodge every possible way to get involved.

Tyron-time! @Azery: If you're going to introduce it now, I'm going to guess it will still be a Psyduck? Get that thing just staring with a stupid expression at James. Or look things up from Misty's Psyduck or that episode when she had a Golduck. You might find something. And I think that Politoed is out of Evan's potential team and Yanmega is in. His main 6 should be: - Vaporeon - Medicham - Gengar - Yanmega or Ampharos - Skarmory - Goodra The other 4, including Clefable, are just support. He's not going to catch his strongest six right away.

DarkLight, Azery, Jory and Zerron After the students either left the room or turned silent, Devin Cadmus made his way back towards the hosts. He was just in time to see the new rock field coming up. The look on his face didn't show any sign of the conversation he just had. (Hosts) Dobby and Murdoc “Let's see what we have in store for our next competitors! Kageharu and Kyle, please make your appearance on the... ROCK FIELD!” Brand's enthusiasm still hadn't died down. The CEO obviously enjoyed introducing the fields his company made over and over again. And just like with Jacob's battle, a field filled with rocks came up from underground. There were no signs of the previous battle as every inch of the field was covered with rocks. Attacking head on would be almost impossible. Lana, Tyron, Kristen The shy breeder found herself caught by Tyron's enthusiasm. The gym teacher yelled, cheered and gave his own comments so loud that the people around him tried to keep 3 seats in between them. Unfortunately for Lana and Kristen, both girls found themselves within Tyron's circle. He had grabbed them by the shoulder to try and get them to cheer. All the girls wanted to do was escape. “Nooooo! How can you lose to an ice and dark type with a powerful fighting type that Heracross is?! But at the same time; NICE STRATEGY RAIZA! OOOOH this is what battling is all about! Bring the next one, Brand!” His Mienshao just stood there, watching. She was used to her trainer's behavior and knew how to hide her embarrassment by now. -

Do you have any idea how much work that would acquire on my part? If I go search for every friggin dangerous Pokémon, I would have a banlist covering half the Pokémon list. Drapion attacks people, Hippowdon is supposed to be aggressive and so on and so on.

The tournament is split in two days. After Mareek vs James I'm going to allow some free time. (And that's when Phoebe is meeting with Slade and Ryan and whoever decides to tag along) Btw Evan's team: - Vaporeon lvl 25 - Ninetales lvl 25 - Clefable lvl 22 - Skarmory lvl 30 (I even had this one higher leveled) Note that I placed two Pokémon at the level cap because Evan wants to prove he can be a decent trainer to RoG and himself. Also the reason he gave them their stones early on. The Skarmory was raised by RoG and I mentioned they gave him a powerhouse. I placed the thing at level 40 without Evan being able to use it. But since things seem to going faster then I expected, I placed it at 30. Now since I was indecisive with his team and used random pokes that looked innocent, things worked out this way. But I said I wouldn't allow people to change Pokémon that already appeared and now I'm breaking this rule because of what I mentioned earlier. Therefore: - Vaporeon (at level cap) - Clefable (one level under that) - Skarmory (slightly above the cap without being able to use it.) This is also the only one I allow above the cap because it's a part of the story. As soon as Evan can use it, Skarmory won't grow in levels until the level cap catches up. - The one I'm going to use to replace Ninetales: 10 levels below Vaporeon. I gave myself a penalty of 10 levels In later chapters I'm not going to use level caps or just go over level 100. I'm just using it to indicate the difference in power. At the end of this chapter I'm going to show you such a battle. I suggest you all pay attention because that's more or less the level RoG is at. (Or at least their strongest members)

I said I don't mind if people caught another one or introduce their next capture (I'm doing that as well) but I limited the amount of usable Pokémon and placed a limit for when the first year ends. Aside from that Commander is right. You also seem to have a very powerful moveset right away. This one is Lana's Rhyhorn (and she comes from a breeder family) - Curse - Counter - Metal Burst - Horn Attack - Rock Smash - Rock Blast

He just threw the most obvious ones first, but seeing Adam grabbing his D-pad, the blond had no choice. "Fine! If I beat you in a duel, I want answers!" he said when blue flames started to surround them. What's going on here? What are those flames? I need answers!

I don't know... It doesn't look that attractive to use to be honest. I can see more potential in having a Galvantula and an Ampharos as electric types. I'm pretty much set on the team or else I probably keep changing. xD The only thing when it comes to the team with Skarmory is: do I got for Yanmega or Politoed? Both have different roles but can be fun to use in an RP.

If what you're assuming is correct and there is some sort of dark organization at work, it would be too dangerous. I want you all to leave this up to the staff and go back to your every day lives. And don't tell Evan Reeves. For now I will keep a close eye on him. I don't want those thugs thinking Evan became useless and try to erase their trails.” TurboAura “Nothing special, we're just looking for him. I told him we would meet up after his battle but we kinda never said a place,” Jaime scratched his head. “I just figured if the two of you were friends you might know where he is. I don't really know my way around.” the boy sighed. “It doesn't look like he made an effort to make friends... Everyone I asked up until know doesn't know him or only by name.”
