Not all humans are redeemable, but that doesn't make them monsters. If a character is human they should be portrayed as human imo. There's a big difference between making a villain unsympathetic and making them inhuman

I mean, I suppose it also depends on your definition of inhuman. Since to me, someone who commits genocide is still human

I don't like the excess of sympathetic villains, but I really don't see why someone has to be treated as subhuman because they are evil
