    Well, today is a wonderful day. I wake up, to my mother screaming at the top of her lungs like a child because my sister and her had a disagreement. Once more, she's throwing the old "I'm your mtoher so I instantly get your respect" card... Respect is earned and not given.       Mine still hasn't worked out why I have zero respect for her...kids throw tantrums, adults shouldn't.

      My mom starts talking bad about my boyfriend whenever her and I have an argument. Really going to make things awkward when he becomes her son-in-law but whatever she talks bad about me to him and to my face too. She doesn't understand why we have no respect for her.

      My mother is the type who demands respect for being a parent/elder but gives no respect to anyone else.

      The only reason I'm living with her is so I can get through college without having to balance a job to pay for rent and food.

      She acts like a spoiled brat, with a sense of entitlement whenever things don't go her way.
