    So, on this day the save Battery of my original Pokemon Blue finally died. Goodbye Batsy the Golbat, goodbye Jolt the Raichu, goodbye Squirt the Blastoise, goodbye Kingsely the Nidoking, goodbye Venom the Victreebel, and goodbye Fear the Fearow. You all did well, and I wish you a grand adventure wherever you may be now.

      I remember when that sort of thing happened to me, too. The funny thing is that both times I played Pokemon Yellow, Mr. Muffintops the Pikachu was always a female. Well, according to Stadium 2, that is. At least on the bright side, you can now start over with a level 100 Nidoking early ingame.

      The battery won't replace the save, though. The old, complete save that I've had since I was a kid.

      I'm replacing the battery for sure, but I'm still sad by the loss of the save.
