  1. So, my town is outraged because during my local high schools baccalaureate; there wasn't a christian prayer this year. There was a muslim one, it was an attempt to try and diversify things for a change; and now people are pissed and ready to get out their torches and pitchforks. My mother even said she wasn't going to allow my neice, who she adopted, to go to the local school as a result? What in the absolute fuck. How much of a closed-minded fucking idiot do you have to be to go off...

      Because people only see differences and not the similarities and everything that is different is evil...

      I honestly don't care if there is religion or not.

      What I care about, is people for once in their god damn lives, having an open fucking mind.

      Is it so hard to allow one group to have representation? Is it so much to ask for that other groups don't get fucking alienated due to someone else's views?

      I agree that this is not about religion. There are tons of of religious people who are open minded and kind. The same also applies to nonreligious people. The real problem is with people being so stuck in the past as to reject the new.
