    I believe the root canal I had years back has failed. Wonderful.

      Diet is in many cases not much of an option.

      Regardless, I have cut out sugars and soda itself entirely for a few months now.

      All in all, my diet is actually pretty healthy; so I doubt that is the case.

      Root Canals themselves aren't that bad, you may get an occasional ping of discomfort; but overall the worst part is the Novocaine shot.

      Just know, whether it fails down the road or not may be a coin toss from what I've read.
