I do try to stay positive, but it's difficult when the past 3 years have been shit tier overall. Not completely bad, granted, but the bad outweighed the good.

Not saying to be positive. Just don't think all you ahve is shit too look froward to. Because if you look at the world in jade coloured glasses, even the good seems to be bad. Just take things a day at a time. Things won't always be terrible. I probably don't understand what you are going through, but know there will be good, even if there isn;t a lot there will be some. When I thought everything would be bad... it made things worse for me. So I am saying, just know some good will...

I am hardly an optimist and I don;t want you to be. I find blind optimism to be bad.
