I tried to fix it, and it seems like the quest progresses as normal, until you have to return to her father, at which point the game freezes. But, you can rename an earlier save to Game_2.rxdata in the savefile folder, doing so would overwrite your current save with an earlier one. Just find the last save you did before wiping

You can never go wrong with lifeorbs, and a few mega stones (Frosslassite and Blastoisite I think) are only available from Shaydas shop. Maybe get the legendary beasts crest (only available if you've done Renegade v14). Everything else is can be found organically, most before chapter 16 (except the Earthquake TM, so maybe take that as well)

I think you do need to advance the ch. 15 story somewhat, and starting karma files does not lock you out of the quest immediatly.

Try changing it manually from the cybernav? Maybe that'll fix it

I think you need to finish chapter 12, or at least wait until after you get Soutas badge

you dont use surf there, see that black part of the wall with a crack in it? use rock smash to open up a path

You get the Poison Jab TM far earlier than the TM for earthquake (Poison Jab = Chapter 9, 9 Badges, Earthquake = Chapter 16, 17 badges) so yeah, go for the Earthquake one And while Scolipede does not learn Poison Jab per level up, it can learn cross poison, the TM for which is available as soon as you get surf
