nvm there's a specific tile that I had to step on in the bottom room for it to change back to the mc

Currently on the area zero thing with bladestar and in the abandoned apartment second floor there's a room where you can control aelita, so i did that but after doing so I found there's no way to change back and the only thing in the room is a hole in the ground that leads to another empty room that I can't get out of. I attached a picture of the room I'm currently in

So I'm currently at the part where you get to Kugearen and I noticed that every pokemon that I used an ability capsule on now have their original ability back, I know for a fact that this happened after I got to Kugearen, is this a bug? has anyone else experienced this
