Alistair Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 I suppose you're referring to the predominantly dark color schemes used for many Reborn shinies (for instance the Beldum, Magnemite and Gabite lines)? Well, there are several reasons. 1. It fits Reborn's atmosphere and overall dark themes better than colorful shinies would. 2. Canon shinies being mostly horrendous, Ame probably wanted something radically different for her game, which led to specific color choices. 3. Ame just likes dark colors. Heck there's a reason the forum itself is all dark I'm personally fine with how most shinies look in this game. They are significant improvements compared to the canon ones (although as implied above, it's not that hard).
