Finding Piplup

I've been looking for Piplup. I know on the location guide it says to mine a rock near the beryl wall, but I having trouble finding the rock. Directions and/or screenshots would be helpful. I've been running around reborn for hours. Thanks

If I recall correctly, you can get a Piplup in 7th street, trading a "rare candy" to a guy in one of the smoking places there.

7th street is on the North Obsidia Ward, and you gain access to it from different locations depending on which gang you join, either AQUA or MAGMA.

However, I don't think I ever had to go to the Beryl ward to get my "rare candy". I got mine in 7th street, then a guy stole it, then I got it back, then I traded it for Piplup.

EDIT: Beryl WALL. My bad. Anyway, though I DID get a second rare candy from a rock, I still think I got my first one from a NPC there.

I believe it's to the right of the place where luna was held captive. You do have to mine it twice.

There is only like one rock by the Beryl wall

When you first enter the Beryl wall in 7th street (a mining rock is to the left if im not mistaken) destroy that rock andget the 'rare candy' the rest will follow.

It will get stolen. Check the guy with the other 2 people on the bottom left of the area. Good luck
