Snap Crackle Pop Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hey~ So, ah, I'm thinking of doing a Camp- Halfblood sort of RP. It's only loosely based on the series, taking the concept of Greek gods/ goddesses having affairs with mortals and creating Demi God offspring. You don't need any Percy Jackson knowledge to participate (As I will be supplying in depth detail into the probably drastically modified world) and those who know the series well may be in for a surprise because the world is to be far more serious and in depth. I kind of feel like the series was a little too childish/ linear but I really like the potential it has with the concept. Even if there is sufficient interest raised, I may not actually make the RP and if I do, it may take a while to put up. This is being made on a whim but if anyone wants to collaborate, just go ahead and pm me. Questions can be asked here as well.
Raindrop Valkyrie Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 < personally I love Greek Mythology, I would be up for it lol. I might throw you a pm, but my resources are a bit stretched at the moment, so it might not be realistic for me to help you with it.
Snap Crackle Pop Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Tis okay, that's one person. A minimum of 3 and a maximum of nine
Sutoratosu Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Well... I've read my fair share of Percy Jackson... (Every book in both of the main series) I have to say, I'm a bit interested... I might even be able to help out with development... (If you decide to do this) invite me into a PM or something if you'd like. Edited June 30, 2014 by Stratos
Deleted User Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Sorry, I don't do the role play thing, but I do like Greek Mythology.
Ojama Yellow Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 The Percy Jackson series? Oooooh, now you've done it. Because of the concept, these were my favourite books, both the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus series. If you get this RP up, count me in.
Support Squad Felicity Posted June 30, 2014 Support Squad Posted June 30, 2014 Quite a few Percy Jackson fans I read those books too many times to be healthy. I'm in.
Raindrop Valkyrie Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 WE 100% structuring this like the Percy Jackson Series or what? (if I should be asking this in pm, I think you can add me to the PM with Stratos, would make talking about it much simpler, than having to relay info to 2 people. I think I will help to the concept off the ground rather than run it myself.) Looking forward to working with you if you will have me though.
Bluewolf Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I would totally be up for it. Time to put what i've learned after 4 years of latin to the test.
Snap Crackle Pop Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) Heck yes! So, sufficient interest is raised and co-writers found. I would pull some witty joke but I'm drawing blanks here so I'll just say let's get the show on the road I guess I'll just start he pm Edited July 1, 2014 by Snap Crackle Pop
Sutoratosu Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Pokelord... you just necroposted in a thread that's been dead for two months.
Raindrop Valkyrie Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 should I lock this? I dunno really know, kinda hard to make judgement calls on such stuff.
Sutoratosu Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I think you should, Hukuna... from what I can tell, this idea isn't gonna be coming to fruition any time soon. (I say this because I've seen no further development of it past that PM that Snap sent you and I ((Which I deleted by accident while trying to make space a few days ago >.<)) might as well just lock it up to prevent confusion
Ojama Yellow Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I have to agree with Stratos here. And if Snap still wants to continue it, he could PM you and you could unluck it...right?
Raindrop Valkyrie Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 True, True. Locking for now, Snap contact me if you want it unlocked.
