Do I need Cut?

Well, I finally got past the part with Taka and his stupid higher leveled Chatot when the player has to rescue Cain on Azurine Island. I attempted to beat the Garchomp, and didn't even come close, but at least we don't lose money when we lose. Anyway, here's my question. I use a Huge Power Diggersby on my team as an HM Slave. His moves are Rock Smash, Cut, Dig, and Double Kick. Do I still need Cut for the rest of the game, or do I just switch that out for Strength?

You have to use it at least once in the Byxbysion Wasteland. After that, i don't think you do.

It's not like HM slaves are worth the slot in Reborn. I don't think you need HM slaves until we reach the Victory Road, the place where we're going to use all of the 25 HMs in Reborn.

you need it in the wasteland.. so you should keep it..

You totally lose money if you lose to the Garchomp.

You'll need Cut for the Byxbyxs;agh Wasteland, but after that, you'll only need to bring HM slaves when you're going to specific areas.
