Main reason is to absorb the toxic spikes of the poison gym leader, after that im not so sure if he still has any use really. Heres my grimer. Tacos Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I tried using a grimer one of the times I played through reborn and it honestly was no help. If you want to take out Corey you should grab the Emolga from the Jasper Ward (Motor Drive being the preferable ability) and make sure as you level it up to the cap that it does NOT forget Nuzzle or Electro Ball. To take down Corey all I did was use Nuzzle on the pokemon and then use Electro Ball and it OHKO'd every single one of his pokemon. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
