Kyoyoyoyoyoyoyo Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Flygon...a truly majestic dragon type...I remember in my younger days when he and I would destroy any who opposed us. Now, here we are Reborn and I can once again destroy those who stand in my way with Flygon by my side. The catch...It's really hard to get him. I've been at the Casino for about 30 minutes and I've only managed to obtain about 2100 coins. I'm a little late in getting him as I've already come to the point where you have to face Dr.Connal and I know I'll only be able to level by tedious grinding at this point but I like Flygon so much I'm willing to put up with alla dat. I know getting it is no easy task but I'm wondering, to all the Flygon trainers on Reborn: How long did it take you to even get the Trapinch, let alone evolve it into Flygon? Quote

EternalJinn Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) On my first reborn journey it took me about an hour or so of serious coin grinding on the voltorb game at the game corner plus using all my cash buying coins. If you play the voltorb game right you should be able to get it in reasonable time. If i didn't, i'd say it took around 30-40 minutes to get it... I didn't evolve it yet though, mostly because i'm not using it :X Did you know there's a machine with 4 sevens instead of 2? But of course, if you want to go the harder route, you could grind those voltorbs. You could also try pressing C all over the place and pick up some coins. Though Flygon isn't really worth it later on. I mean, the whole being dragon/earth with levitate is pretty nifty. But you'll start running into ice pokemon and a few dragons that can trample on Flygon. The process that it took to level Trapinch into Flygon without cheating was just boring, since Trapinch doesn't learn many strong attacks (maybe Bulldoze, but it was mediocre. ) The secondary evolution isn't all that great either. Later on, it took me some couple of hours as well to get him on his current level, (lvl. 58) but oh well... besides the huge time spended on getting him and grinding him later on, I don't regret anything else Quote

ShatteredSkys Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 If your serious about getting fllygon you might consider taking an extra step and breeding earthquake on to it, just get a geoudude breed eq to a dwebble(are they still around?) and breed it to triapinch and you get an eq triapinch. Quote

When I played Diamond, Weaville was my main. I can only imagine my heartache if Flygon wasn't in the game. Although I would like to crush some souls with Hydreigon. I just love Dragon types with all their delicious power. If we had a Ghost/Dragon type I'd be all over that.. I could be Lin's brother now that I think about it...or Lance's...
