How to gain access to Route Z / Where is Vivian's tree and can I still get there?

I read online that you have to cut down Vivian's tree but I think I missed it and I can't figure out where it is and if I can get back there.

Found it, Souta's room in the Rose Theater takes you back and lets you walk there
