Grand hall trainers missing

I noticed on my old E18 save, there are no trainers in the grand hall at all. Do they disappear after a certain point or is that a bug? I still see them with my 13 badge file. Considering they pay out more money and candies than the clown, I would rather fight them even though the 8 candies from the clown is generally enough.

If you've just upgraded to e19, that's normal. Talk to the npcs behind the counter (the third or fourth from the left iirc).

Aha! That NPC just blended in. I was more concerned that at some point these trainers disappear anyway. (as I was playing a new save.) Thank you.
