AccursedMuffin Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Hey is there anyway to go into the code and change my Cinderace's ability to Libero? Because of a glitch, everytime I use an ability capsule on him, it just cycles back to Blaze. I've tried using 2 one after another but he's still just stuck. So yeah if anyone knows what I need to do to get that ability, that'd be great.
RonomakiK Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I don't think it's a glitch. I think ability capsule (at least according to Bulbapedia) only switch between the "main abilities". Since Cinderace only has one "main ability" (Blaze), the ability capsule will always set its ability to 'Blaze'
Hiven Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Ability capsules can get you secret abilities in this game, but I know for a fact that a lot of abilities are banned, Libero might be part of em.
RonomakiK Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I don't think Libero is exactly banned because I've seen people getting Scorbunny as a starter with the Libero ability... if ability capsules do change to your Pokemon's hidden ability, that might indeed be a bug
Mindlessant Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Ability capsules have always been able to give your pokemon its hidden ability in Reborn, Rejuv, and Deso. In the main games they don't. But for some reason (glitch or intentional) it seems to not work with the galar starters.
