So I want the Mining Kit in pokemon reborn but I didn’t get it the first time, and now I’m back in Reborn City where it’s completely fixed at everything, and I cannot access the underground caverns anymore from the grand staircase. Is there anything I can do?

Talk to the Police officer to the right of the staircase, he allows access into the underground area of the staircase
