Corey's pokemon didn´t join

Hey Guys,

 

i need help with Corey's pokemon. I´m at the fairy gym and decided to achieve the Toxic Orb. To get them I need to catch Corey*s Skuntank. I have the Silver Ring, but it says it isn´t interested in me. So i try to catch Corey's Croagunk an it says the same. Did i missed somthing ? or is this a bug ?

Is the Silver Ring in your Items or Key Items pocket?

 

In E16, the Silver Ring was changed from being an item to a key item. Silver Rings obtained pre-E16 will no longer have any effect on Corey's Pokemon. 

 

If you upload your save file, someone will be able to give you the key item Silver Ring. If you're unsure how to do that, here's a guide: http://www.rebornevo.com/index.php?/pr/save/
