Scyther? (E18)

The dex says Scyther can be found on Rt 4/Calcous Mountain, has anyone found one either in the grass or on headbutting trees? I've tried both for a while and I'm just not sure where I should be focusing on looking. I don't expect it to have a high encounter rate but I just wanted to see if anyone's had better luck, thanks.

You have to be in an area where you melted the snow using a move such as Lava Plume or Flame Burst. The Grass there has a 1% encounter rate for Scyther

You have to go to zones where you can melt the snow with moves such as eruption or heat wave.
