Same-type Run

I've been thinking on making a new mono-run for a while, but I still can't decide which type nor haven't find a time for it. Maybe I'll do it when E18 is out, but the question is which one?

 

So I ended up having an idea, why not one type every gym? And since I'm very fond of Reborn's field, I want to experience those fields as much as possible. But those fields ups their respective gym leader, so I'm thinking about running same type as the Gym Leader I will face on a.k.a. Same-type run a.k.a. "I'm a better Gym Leader than you"

 

So what do you guys think? Will this run become fun or it will definitely become a pure torture?

Sounds fun to be honest. I can see the early game causing some problems, however, simply because there aren't that many mons to choose from. For instance, there aren't a lot of Electric-types before Julia. Trading should help you out here, though.

Thanks for the offer! But I want to try without trading first. I hope in E18 or in future we have more electric pokemon before Julia.
