Pokemon Reborn: Ask Your Questions: Quests, Pokemon/Item Locations, and Other Information

Question

Posted

Since there seems to be an array of topics on individual questions everywhere, I've created some general topics to ask them in, just for neatness.

In this topic, you can ask about any problems you're having regarding in-game quests and pokémon locations, along with anything else of the sort. Have at it, you phoenixes.

I've heard Lapras does require dive. The problem is, I don't know where you would dive to find the damn thing >:I

Its in the same place/forrest where you get eevee.

Once you get out from spinel town, on the right side of the map there will be a small route between trees, leading to the moss rock.

You'll need the magmarizer too just so you know. Not sure about any link stones up that way though.

Only thing I can recommend is to go ballistic with the itemfinder. You're bound to find at least one somewhere up there.

I have actually but that was before I became a mod, and it's never really had any trouble staying near the top without the sticky. It's even possible that it gets more attention unstickied because people might glance over the stickied topics. Right now I don't feel like changing it, but if it starts to drop off in popularity I might pin it.

Ahh, fair enough, I have to agree there, most of the time, it is unnoticed

I'm asking this here because I've been looking where I'm supposed to when I'm supposed to. Has Sentret been moved from Obsidia Park? I've yet to encounter one in the past day.

It has not. I found one just yesterday and got a Castform. You can't find them at night if that's your problem.

I've been looking during the day, though it is raining for me. Is that the problem?

It shouldn't be. It is a little rare in the day I think. If you need chances of it appearing, I'd recommend looking up the Reborn EV training guide, as it has all wild encounter rates.

Rain shouldn't be a factor in this case, asfaik.

The encounter rate for Sentret is 8% in the Morning and 10% in the Day. So overall, it could take awhile to find it. Just gotta keep trying :]

EDIT: jman mentioned the EV Training Guide, which has the encounter rates I mentioned. Use the Guide as it will help you determine the best time to find the mon in the wild.

They can be found in the Aqua/Magma Gang Alleyways.

EDIT: Forgot to say you can get it as a event pokemon in the Obisidia Ward from the House blocked by a Hobo, which you just have to keep giving him money til he moves.

It is in the West Peridot Ward, there is a bum to the south of Julia's gym. Pay him over and over until he moves and enter the house that is now accessible. I think you need pokenax. Which you can buy to the waaaaay north west part of the ward.

Alright someone was asking about a link stone near charlotte. If you haven't found it yet, there is one on route 2. You have to jump across more rocks. Also, just for when someone new may ask, Lapras is now unobtainable. We need Waterfall. Maractus has also been found in Chrysolia Woods/Forest. It's in the train of the "confusing" forest.

Its available as a Move Tutor at 7th Street but I'm pretty sure you're not close at all to being there Jon. Your best option is to find a pokemon who learns it naturally.
