GriffinO1 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Do you all think there will be a different way to get Riolu in the future? Currently, unless you breed, you can’t get a male, or non-shiny Riolu. But what about in future updates. Any thoughts?
Swampellow Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I mean, breeding takes only a second if you really want a non-female/shiny Riolu, so there doesn't really *need* to be, unless you never get the code from WLL/the forums.

It does but it’s harder due to having to evolve Riolu with high friendship.
Swampellow Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Thats not that difficult, there are plenty of ways to raise friendship, the salon for one. Also the riolu you get is always good, no need for another really.

And while it isn’t difficult, it is time consuming since according to others, you can only use the salon once per day.

The easiest way I've found to evolve Riolu into Lucario is to soft reset for a Blue Moon Ice Cream and let the Riolu take a tiny bit of damage so it can be consumed. Blue Moon Ice Cream instantly bumps friendship up to the max. After that all you need to do is level it. My method is to save in front of the machine, buy five Strawberry Ice Creams (the ice cream with the chance of falling as a Blue Moon) and then SR so I don't waste money. The most it's ever taken me is 3-15 minutes. You can put the game on silent and watch a video on the side while you reset.
