[SPOILER] Taka in E17

Hi, so I was exploring the game's files in RMXP and I noticed some Taka events in Teknite Mountain (I think that's the name of it?) and in Tania's castle, but these events didn't trigger with me. Do I have to do something to unlock them? Or is it too late? I've already finished E17's Storyline. Thanks.

 

I also would like to know where can I see the progress for E18? I'm not really familiarized with the new forum so I don't know where it is now... Thanks again!!!

Taka has a split story, depending on whether you battled him in the Water treatment center or not. Those events that you are referring to and which weren't triggered probably belong to the other storyline.

Click on Pokemon reborn tab at the top and then click on development blog.

Taka joins you in Tourmaline if you didn't battle him in the Water Treatment Center, having left Team Meteor behind. And then things happen. Let's leave it at that.

Give not fighting him a whirl next time, the desert is a nice place to have an AI partner to keep you healed.
